  1. So surprisingly, the stealership has that same seal for around $55. I put one of those in because the Advance Auto didn't have it in stock.. Has been working great so far
  2. For Colorado emissions, the test consists of 4 parts: a rev from idle, and a lug down at 40, 50 and 60 mph to simulate WOT up a grade. Opacity is measured during all of these parts. And then there is the visual test, but that really isn't a concern for our trucks since we don't have EGRs and whatnot. So if the place you're moving to is similar, then you'll be screwed with those injectors.
  3. The stock HX35 is a 54mm turbo. 54/60/12 are the full specs. I'm fairly certain injectors found in the HO are 7x0.0071, but correct me if I'm wrong. I've been told the SO injectors are 7x0.0075, and that's the difference between the HO and SO injectors.
  4. I'm fairly certain that'll halp with the smoke... What'd you break??
  5. I always wondered why the truck had a 265/75/R16 spare if it supposedly came stock with 245's. The LSD sure wouldn't like that combo if the original tires were 245's..
  6. If Boulder can survive with 35% opacity, El Paso County should be able to as well.. lol.
  7. You're only allowed 20%? In Golden we can have up to 35%. Thought that was a a state wide thing. When I did my emissions in February, I went in all happy with my road-tested, smoke free DD tune set to 70% on level 1, and the guy was still able to get smoke out of it (10%!). I think I was starting off with fueling at 82% back then, but don't remember the other parameters. Long story short, it took me by surprise and I was sad.
  8. Did they stop offering the 4300k? Their options have a 4500K bulb, but no 4300K
  9. I run 45 in the front, 55 for dd in the rear, and then 65+ in the rear for towing, depending on load size. My truck is as cushy as can be unloaded!
  10. Sure do miss you Tyler ??
  11. Projectors are in! Only thing left to do is to put the lenses back on and then aim the new housings. I am very pleased with the light output. Morimoto sure makes a good product! (please excuse the lack of plastic on the bumper. It came off to ease getting the housings in, and will be going back on)
  12. Spring was altered to prevent ball from getting stuck. I ran out of the outdoor stuff last week and went to walmart to get some of theirs, truck was noticeably louder with the walmart oil...
  13. New airdog spring and Viton ball are in, and now the fass holds 19-20 psi at idle and 16 WOT. And it's quiet as can be with new hose and new teflon tape on inlet fitting. So I'm gonna call it good enough. Question for you guys. I've been using this Pennzoil Outdoor 2 stroke oil (pic related) and have noticed a huge difference in quietness. Has anyone else seen this around? I've only been able to find it at one fuel station.
  14. Ok guys, I had a few packages show up today that made me feel like it was Christmas and my birthday rolled into one. First off we got a Viton ball and 17 psi spring to make my damn Fass stop acting up. Then we have a nice new set of headlights that will be painted satin black and retrofitted with the third package, which is a Morimoto Mini H1 projector kit complete with 6500K HID goodness!!!! Maybe it's the beer or the truck parts, but I'm sure more excited than I have been all week!
  15. Gotcha. I remember when Tyler went to the 1.32 housing from his old, really small one (.9?) and loved the difference. Figured that was the end of it lol. Forgot it was Tyler. The tinkering never stops...
  16. I've been starting to have a longer trip between Denver and Sterling (139 miles one way) My truck has been running 23* cruise state timing @ 80mph (20* not in cruise control), and it seems to like it. I have yet to get an accurate, just highway mileage number, but hopefully I can get that this afternoon when I head down.
  17. I agree with Nick that the newest tune is great for mileage. Recently, I've been getting 18+ mpg in stop and go traffic and in the 20's on the freeway. It's been much easier on the wallet for sure
  18. Why would they recommend a tighter housing on the primary? Isn't that just going to raise EGT's and drive pressure?
  19. Though, Tyler managed to blow out the seal on the 12V cover with the p pump..... So it is possible. But he also had deleted the stock breather by then, so it was destined to happen @Mopar1973Man http://www.ebay.com/itm/94-98-Dodge-Ram-5-9-Cummins-Diesel-Tappet-Pushrod-Cover-12-valve-6bt-3911821-/152482257077?hash=item2380a698b5:g:bJ4AAOSw5cNYOkQk&vxp=mtr
  20. I saw one pop up on Facebook pretty recently for like $50... Then Tyler got his billet one so I grabbed his
  21. 12 valve tappet cover... Hard for the seal to blow out when there's a breather right there!
  22. Either 12V and 24V Diesels or 2nd gen Cummins Nation. Those two seem to have the best threads for both trolling and actual help
  23. @Mopar1973Man nice... Mine have been starting to do that too. Not as drastic as your scenario, but noticeable.
  24. While we're on the subject of stupid Facebook posts @jlbayes that one today about the new steering and the "3 inch spacers" made my morning
