  1. I got really bored over the weekend so I pulled two of my DAP injectors to see what they looked like after about 7k miles (I was really, really bored). Found lots of soft soot that wiped off really easily, and slight discoloration of the tips. Truck seemed to idle smoother with cleaning just two injectors. Curious.
  2. Usually. I've found sometimes the plug may be different or the threads are different. Like the oil pressure sender in a 5.3l Vortec SBC. I got all excited when I saw the correct electrical connector, but when i pulled it out of the block, it has 1/2" threads and a crush washer on it.
  3. Let go grab a beer! Isn't there a BBQ place just to the north of the hwy 119 and hwy 46 intersection? I'm in town today and tomorrow, and then again next weekend
  4. I'm using a sender out of a Mercury outboard. $20 on ebay and surprisingly steady and reliable. http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-OEM-Pressure-Sensor-For-Mercury-110-250-HP-Outboard-Motors-0-100-PSI-/232153040470?hash=item360d664656
  5. That's an area of the state I wish I could spend more time exploring...
  6. This is kinda around my place.. Somewhere south of Central City. Nice drive, despite the rains making the roads almost impassible.
  7. So close, yet so far away for you @jlbayes....
  8. Rust Ohhhhh. I'm so used to Minnesota vehicles I looked right past that! That rust isn't bad at all. You still have paint on most of it!
  9. Wait what was the surprise. I'm not smart enough to find it
  10. I was 7360 a month ago with a full tank of fuel and me in it
  11. I will try this once I get back from Tennessee.
  12. Mike I have bigger injectors than you. But mine is very quiet, so I'm currently ignoring it.
  13. Nick and Mike - My truck sounded just like that, but much, much quieter at just 1% throttle input. I had to be in a dead quiet area to hear it at all. Same issue you're looking for?
  14. Interesting. So the Pacifica is both a hybrid and a full electric car? If it's hybrid, shouldn't the gas motor and regen braking charge the battery? Why does it have a battery charging port?
  15. Pardon my ignorance, but what FCA vehicles are hybrids or fully electric? I haven't heard anything about those..
  16. Kewl. Makes sense to me because I'm going to mainly use this as a tow rig. So DAP or Rob Thomson as a supplier?
  17. So I'd only need the flow of a 14 cm housing if I had Tylers or your mods? But for a VP I'd want the tighter housing to help with spooling because it's a VP and it sucks?
  18. Compound gurus (@jlbayes, @TFaoro and whoever else), I have a question about exhaust housings. Eventually, the secondary turbo in my setup will be a 62/68 SXE. What do you guys recommend for housing size? 12cm or 14cm? Also, do you guys have any favorite housing suppliers other than DAP and Smeding Diesel?
  19. The two holes in the bracket were. Had to file them some to get both the threads and the shoulder through. Even then had to tap it in with a hammer Oh! Also @notlimah, how did you have issues with the dust seals? Mine fit right in the heim and slipped right into the bracket.. Beads are coming when I get new tires here shortly
  20. No, beer is for weighing me down. (Ha, fat jokes)
  21. I used a molar kit as well. When o had the stock wheels, the weights were on the outside and I never had a clearance issue. Now I have 17" wheels and don't have to worry!
  22. DOR track bar is in! Thanks to @TFaoro for letting me come down to use his shop. Install was easy (except for the two holes that were too small for the actual bolt...??) And, install took a little longer because when Tyler and I work together there's more name calling and quoting tv shows than actual work.
  23. Yes, I had to grind the TRE stud at an angle to clear the stock wheels
