Hoping its just oil that seeped past seals with all the cold weather, but I had been adding a little anti freeze every so often. Just thought maybe a slow leak in overflow tank.

Any one got an Idea was this could be? I hoping it's not anti-freeze. The truck sat for about 60 days without being started, it starts to burn off at about 400*F hoping its oil from cylinders from sitting.

Not got to it yet. Just starting to be able to hobble decent. Had my ankle fused in Dec. Just getting part together for what I want to do when I get healed a little better I haven't even got it off yet, next 30 days or so . I'll PM when it's off.

All I know is I bought Truck with 62K Most of the miles have been highway towing, I'm one that keeps up on maintenance. I can, not sure of all about when @cageflinn bought his truck, miles etc. I do know the replacement block was reinforced right were the block cracked.

I had a 53 block made in Mexico, that only made 453k then cracked the whole length of the water jackets on pass side, Globalization!

Collapsed or plugged fuel line from canister to VP? You have a section of hose between the two steel lines that run between the two? Cap threads stripped/worn?

Rebuilding a Turbo isn't hard

FYI my HX35 went 853K before I rebuilt it. Now has 42K so it's proved itself. 50K is nothing.

Curious if anyone could tell me if there would be any difference between a 99 ECM vs my 2000 ECM It it came off the same engine I.E. H.O. 6speed? Reason, I'm getting back into hauling trailers as soon as my freshly fused ankle allows me to, and FMSCA might require me to have an ELD(electronic logging device) not sure, because right now towaway operators are exempt for now, but 1999 and older engines exempt, not that I'll be worried about HOS but just an added extra monthly cost.

That was me asking about your Turbo a few months back. Too late now just ordered that HE351 $520 to my door, didn't think I could go wrong. You're over by Davenport right?
