  1. I get 15 on interstate running 70mph, 10-11 towing any kinda of weight at 67mph. I could justify a Quad if I could get close to 20 mpg empty and 15 mpg towing.
  2. I think before I buy new drums I'd take them to a machine shop and see if they could be turned,(not an auto parts store) their lathes usually are not big enough. I think I paid $60 to get both turned.
  3. How you get away with Wyoming plates in PA?
  4. What type extensions you have, Solid or a hose?
  5. Was hoping you would give a few suggestions. Was looking a getting a boost fooler, that should help with increasing boost levels, shouldn't it?
  6. Anybody know a good brand or setup for some valve stem extensions, several on the market
  7. They only show a Billet HX35 for $1050, everything else is Borgwarner turbos
  8. Welcome to the forum! You can get answers to all your questions here.
  9. When you $800 bigger, you mean more than the $900 for the K27, my reason on it is my pacbrake also, Yea, I have a couple that I bought for $1o, just need to find them.
  10. Looking to get a little more power, probably all I need is a little more boost. Anyone know anything about Turbosmart wastegates? Another option was a boost fooler but heard mixed reviews as how much they actually do. Also was looking at upgrading Turbo, Borg Warner makes a drop in K27 that it says has better low/mid range response. Not sure I want to upgrade to more performance electronics like Quadzilla or Edge. Any suggestions?
  11. It was young a girl, think she wasn't paying attention, maybe texting, bald tires and it had just begun to rain. I was towing a large boat at the time also, most of damage was under truck, It tweaked the frame,(looking at that getting fixed now) so front left wheel is back a few inches, sheared output shaft off steering gear box, bent both upper/lower control arms. Exterior damage was minimal, broke turn signal light, scuffed the front fender, my chrome stack and rear fender, scuffed front wheel, but dented rear wheel.
  12. My wife was video taping the Overhead sign about escaped convicts and caught our accident on I-10 https://youtu.be/LLZFZJ52qe0
  13. I was involved in an accident and the front suspension was greatly affected, it broke the steering gear box output shaft and affected other suspension items, upper control arm, lower control arm, the shop replaced the upper control arm and the lower control arm with a 11000# control arm, now my left wheel set further back than the right wheel and when turning rubs the plastic shield, not to mention the alignment is not correct, anyone know the difference between the "except 11000# gvwr" and the under 11000# control arm?
  14. Yep, that's why the dash is out, last time I was time restricted, this time I'm going to replace door foam. Was going to get some adhesive remover to get the old foam off, hope that will work.
  15. Yea, missed that until now, it's been clicking on(could hear spring click) but the lip has been flattened out. I think it's just been connected/disconnected too many times.
  16. That looks good. What do most guys use for new foam on the blend doors? Just self adhesive weather strip?
  17. I don't have hot air, Guess I'll have to figure out whether the switch or motor.
  18. Blend door the one electrically actuated?
  19. Yes, but the lip for the spring to latch around has been flattened out, have the dash out now to replace the evaporator, had dash out 10 days ago to replace the heater core, so I got the procedure down.
  20. Seems like awful high pressure , mine at running was about 150/45 at 79 degrees ambient temp.
  21. A/C blows the receiver/dryer off the evaporator connection, I thought at first it was building to mush high side pressure due to fan clutch seized and condenser beat up not getting good air flow, but those have been replaced. Just went to start truck after it sat for 20-30 minutes and it blew again, when it's working air blows ice cold. Was going to put gauges on while not running to see if pressure equalized between high/low sides but that will have to wait.
