  2. ASD relay was what was bad on my truck causing it not to charge. I thought it was the PCM because the PCM controls charging /w an internal voltage regulator.

  5. For documentation purposes / record history: Me98764 had a setting on the custom tune I couldnt load, that required the Vehicle Selection profile to be on "V2 Quadzilla Only Test2" v2.7. I left that feedback under his download page and he said it was his error and he would fix it.
  6. I understand and know/remember you already told me this. It just adds to the source of my confusion as to if I was running v2.5 or v2.7. Theres an app verison #, a vehicle profile version #, and a firmware version # which I wish I could pull up in the app or wish it would correlate to the vehicle profile version. And I hear ya on the vehicle profile list.

To bring this full circle, Ive just spent the last two hours of my life trying to update my quadzilla to the Beta 2.7 and I may already have it because I updated my device when I first got it four wks ago, but dont remember what version I updated it to. All I know was it was the latest "v2" which may have been 2.5 or the 2.7, Im not sure. For all I know I dont need to update again because Beta 2.7 is already loaded. All I know is the screen says Quadzilla Only, so Im staying out of it. I formatted too many computers as a kid before I could read, so now I do as I should and stay out when it says to stay out. The ADRV27final.exe cant find my device, and I hear Windows beeping it in and out.. and I've done an update before. Ive got admin rights on and compatibility mode on, and its not coming up as a missing device needing drivers in Device Manager. The software side of things is really driving me crazy. So many companies fall on their face when it comes to software, which I understand, is not easy to have dialed in with the extreme amount of different environments. But Im running a dedicated, updated, mainstream Windows 10 OS here..........

I agree, can we get all the other vehicle profiles off there, old versions like 1.9, 2.2, 4k when I dont have a 4k box (unless I can run it, then please give me the option), and if its safe to run v2.7 write Beta or something in the selection name. Dont write Quadzilla Only Test 2 because that to me does not align with what Beta is. I just figured out why the custom tunes wernt populating in the Custom Tuning list, its because I wasnt on v2.7. And I wasnt on 2.7 because it says Quadzilla Only........ Better yet, If the user could rename and delete profiles that would be great. I noticed I can't rename custom tunes once they are made. I like proper capitalization on my name's and when I gen up a profile quick without it and end up keeping it, it's a lot of work to redo the thing all over again (plus I can't because the name would be the same just with letters capitalized), because I can't import tunes the easy way on the Amazon Fire it's all gotta be inputted from A to Z.

  11. I just opened the phone so it would show what profile I was working on the other day when this failed. I wasnt switching around on different profiles because theres only one profile for my truck thats the latest ver, so its not something I mess with.
  12. Ive only got one truck and I havnt been messing around running beta profiles or 4k profiles on my non-4k box. Also this was Me's new tune that he just posted like 3-4 days ago, so it wasnt available until just now. Since you bring that up & I was working off my phone, I grabbed my phone just now to see what Vehicle I had selected, and its the V2 Dodge 1998-2002, Version 2.5. Thats the only profile I know to use.
  13. I tried to load the new custom tunes posted two days ago and they wernt populating on the custom tunes list. Its worth mentioning Ive already loaded and use custom tunes, so I know how to do it. I was also doing this on my new phone, the Moto z2 force. I open the custom tunes file second time and it says something close to "A tune with this file name already exists", except it doesnt show up on the list. I ended up adding digits to the end of the file name while trying various things like reconnecting BT, etc, and no go. None of them showed up. Mine can be a bear to connect on occasion too. Specifically, if my phone's bluetooth is turned on, even if my phone has "forgotten" the iquad, it will not work. Thanks for that progress bar post, I will be uploading that tonight now that I've found it thanks to you here.

I did get the fleece bypass kit which is a thermostat reroute orifice that plugs into the freeze plug at the back of the motor right up against the firewall. I dont know what its opening pressure is. Is this metal debris nuts or what. I didn't even know I had a magnetic oil drain plug in there. Looks like it only split at the top actually (bottom in the pic)
  15. Oh sorry, new phone plus bad spelling plus auto correct plus excuses. I meant to have a place melt wax onto it to seal it up. I called a local place and he said they dont use the "wax" (if thats what it is), they use flux core aluminum rod, but sometimes it opens the holes and cracks up worse. He said they pressure test it to 15psi. Any thoughts on what stock PSI is on our trucks? My Mishi cap says 1.3 bar / 19psi.

  17. You guys ever seen this? It was a Duralast part, I knew I shoulda gone to Napa but I didnt want to drive across town. Now I have a Napa 1 mi from the house. OEM is a reasonable $135 on Amazon. I backed my timing down 3 units per RPM band except max (that's down 2) from the Extreme Injector Tune in the custom tunes section. Truck was running real smooth, feeling real good. This happened on an on-ramp to the hwy, about 2200 +/-200 rpms, maybe 45mph-ish. Just enjoying that strong midrange torque it lays down. Nothing too crazy. Real shame it happened, though. I put a warranty claim into Mishi, we'll see what they say. Made it home 15 miles w/o spewing any coolant, no running hot (same as ever, 183-185*F), but definitely not holding pressure. I have some pics of the radiator split pretty good in various places. Nothing too bad, not as bad as you would expect, but a bit is all it takes.
  18. Your large injector extreme tunes run great, I'm very impressed. My truck no longer haze's white smoke bad at lights when it's cold. My oil pressure when crusing the hwy in 3rd locked at 1900-2100rpms 55-62mph is 54-60psi. I'm starting to think that's making oil seep by the seals in the turbos. John at Pusher Intakes reached out to bullseye about a rebuild kit and oil restrictor fittings and he came back saying the turbo uses a hard faced seal that uses oil tension to seal, so he doesn't think a rebuild kit will fix my problem. I'm surprised my truck smokes less with your tunes , given that the idle speed hasn't changed. Any thoughts? Ican still make a nice black haze as I take off if I'm not dainty on it, but when I'm hazing I'm making nice power. Im at sea level now, I saw the water today. I was squealing the tires quite loudly and ended up killing the motor from getting out of it too quick. Had just unloaded the truck in an effort to clean it and had no 19mm. Luckily stores were just a ten min walk away. Still the truck wasn't in a good spot stuck in a lane of traffic. The tunes are on 3 for now, they were on 5 at the time. After I get used to things and see what max EGT is and such I'll step it up. For now it's a lot of truck Thanks again. There's a slight stumble off idle maybe 25% of the time, perhaps when im real easy on the gas, but honestly it's incredible how well mannered and light the smoke is now. Seems like the rest of the tuners are way behind the curve. Maybe these old trucks are the ones people have forgotten about and not kept on developing, aside from Quadzilla. On the Amazon fire the tunes file from the repository here is not a file type associated with the iquad app like it is on my phone. The open with menu doesn't have "other" like it would on a windows computer. I have a file manager app that I use to import the quadzilla app from the Android to the Amazon fire tablet, and it's open menu is long and exquisit, but even it doesn't have non-default Amazon fire programs. I'd have to replace the music exe file with the iquad app to trick it into running the iquad app when I select music or what have you. For now since I can pull up all your settings & Import the tunes on my phone, I can go the long way on my tablet and manually input everything. Quadzilla, if your listening, why is there no Import or export button? Also what's the deal with the data logging, I see export but does that export the last 24 hrs or? I don't see a start & stop button like the edge had. The stats it shows right now after I hammered around town today have to be off, it shows a Max of 1150 egts & 24psi of boost. I must say Quadzilla if your listening, I have a 7" display and the power +/- buttons are quite small and hard to hit whilst driving.Same with the sensor icons, they're mighty small and the menu can be hard to bring up whilst driving. Holding them to see their description is a real task whilst in motion, too.

The thought of full throttle pedal capability off idle like the description says has me wildly facinated. I've never had that feature on my truck before. It had an edge jwa on it when I bought it.
  20. Just the other wk right before I left. I left on like the fourth so I may have flashed on the first. I just haven't seen an import function in the iquad app for the tune. I'm running the $50 Amazon fire tablet as a readout which I didnt realize didn't have the andorid app store. But app from phone to pc to Amazon fire did the trick.
  21. I never dropped the truck in drive, it was like something was wrong. I need to try your tunes bad, that is first thing in the agenda. Do I flash your tunes to the module? Are they different all together from 2.7 or are they based off 2.5? I assume they are just "tunes" that will run under v2.7. I don't need a guide to figure out how they go on, but I doubt they get flashed like v2.7 did to the unit. Am I wrong? I'm still unloading the trailer. I was 22 or 23k gross with a 28' enclosed and my last fill up was 257mi used 18.87 gal which comes to 13.3 mpg. Driving 55mph on third gen 17s at roughly 600ft elevation down to sea level, with the quadzilla rather than edge. I can't wait to get rid of the Lowend black smoke. With the trucks shift points up in the 2k range and no more stack shift after Firepunk bent the TV bracket at the trans to put a little preload on the cable / tv lever arm, and the low elevation, and the phenomial injectors from F1 Diesel, the truck is begging for some cleaner tunes to be a real street machine. Too bad it still has a hard shift every once in awhile. It's still a 1998 but she runs alright. Quad was on lvl0 whilst towing. I assumed that would retain stock timing.
  22. Hey on the quadzilla tablet I'm using, under vehicle selection, there is no v2.7 unless I select 2.7 "v2 quadzilla test only 2". So I've been using 2.5 "v2 Dodge 1998-2002". I did update the dongle with the latest 2.7 before I ever used the unit. Also when I tried to setup my own custom tuning if it was lower than 100% the truck would bah bah bah bah like a lope/lug/misfire at idle in park if I gave it some gas. It couldn't overcome itself. I tried from say 70% to 99% and it always seemed to do that. So I've been running the default Custom Tuning Profile. It has Mach 6 "220hp" injectors from F1 Diesel now. Any tips appreciated. I haven't had much time to play with it but I've been using it. Much smoother than the edge and less smoke. Feels as or more powerful I think but I don't have a ton of time on it
  23. Coming from web design background in my youth, the very first thing in tried to so was resize the pic and upload it again. I resized it and it failed... I can't remember what res I set it to but generally 800x600 or 1024x768 is plenty big even on today's monitors for just pics on forum boards. Maybe I'll try again later but I tried a ton so patience ran out.

The dip represents tc unlock which was commanded by the PCM. Lavon hooked up the snapon reader and looked at tps signal and speed sensor from the rear diff. Signals were good and didn't drop off, so it was the pcm commanding unlock when going straight to WOT after lavon established load and about 45mph if I recall correctly, in third gear. I need a TC lockup switch really bad if u guys know how to install one.
