@Me78569 Ok, actually will be getting 7x.012. I mean there are probably a handful of parameters that effect that anyway.

Donaldson has one of the better ratings. Like you could do a NAPA filter or WIX and the absolute rating is worse. This is why the double stacking of filters started in the 2nd Gens and then continued into 3rd and 4th Gens for the same reason. The tolerances in the common rail injectors won't tolerate the fine debris so double stacking fuel filters continues. This is why I alway keep the stock filter and always order a Big Line kit from Vulcan to keep the filter.
This why I continue to keep changing the stock filter over and over again. I've tried Donaldson and Fleetguard and even AirDog filter in a 3um. Always have debris on the 10um stock fleetguard filter.
Stock 10um on the left and fleetgaurd 3um on the right. Again still seeing dirt on the stock filter.
I have always thought about putting the stock filter housing back in play. I'm like everyone else. fuel line straight from FASS to the VP44. Only need the big line kit to put the stock housing back in use? -

2002 2500 is Patriot Blue Metallic. In the process of being two-toned. Dark gray on top, Blue on the bottom.

2000 1500 Sport is Forest Green Pearl. Don't mind the silver bed. Had some minor over the passenger wheel and hated looking at it. I had this rust free bed stashed back for 5 years. Lol!

And Painted....

@Mopar1973Man Does the Mopar1973Man.Com High Idle Kit work with factory 3 cyl high idle and Quadzilla high idle?

@crf450ish I wish I did. No one around has a smarty I can borrow. And I'm definitely not paying the dealer. Need to buy a new pyro for the quad also.

I call it anti-terrorist blue, lol. If it were my truck, if the top were done then I would want the jambs to match. Both colors are kind of dark though so you may not notice to much. The bottom would be easier and cheaper I assume due to less paint needed. I used some spray and peel paint on the bottom half of my truck to see if I would like it before having anything permanently done.
Looking at your truck makes me want to get a leveling kit now.
Lol. It's a bad picture to show the color. It was dusk. The jambs are already the factory color. This was total and I had to have the truck painted after putting it back together anyway. Just the first guy that did it used cheap paint and clear. I just didn't know if the gray should be top color. I am going to have him do some spray out cards to decide.
Also I don't have my leveling kit installed. Have 2" spacers on the shelf. Here are before pictures of this same truck:

Going to two tone my truck. Current color is Patriot Blue. Had it painted a couple years ago, but it's one of those you get what you pay for deal. The guy that did it used cheaper quality materials and it shows. I'm keeping the Patriot Blue so I don't need to mess with the jams and such, but adding Dark spiral gray metallic (GMC color 805K). I thought put the gray on the bottom, but my new paint guy suggests the gray on top.

Changing my manual mirrors to power, heated, and lighted. I know doors are pre-wired for the power/heated and I've already added the mirror control swtich and the temp control with heated button. My question is if anyone knows if there is lights-on power source inside the door. Looking to avoid running wires through the dash to the light switch.

@AH64ID I like the idea of monitoring temps before and after. I just hate to take the turbo back off to drill the elbow. I could probable put a weld in bung on the down pipe.
Yea. I drilled and tapped mine with the turbo off. Stepped up drill bits to the final size. Use Plenty of WD40 when cutting the threads. Use anti-seize on the probe adapter threads.
