  1. Nice santan40, glad it all worked out for you, we all like happy endings! Dave
  2. Oops, dang phones, thanks. Starying in a dorm room for the last two weeks can't get my laptop to connect to the new wifi, Thanks MnTom! Dave
  3. I like the weld it yourself option. I changed to a 2001 sport bumper so I'm not going to change unless something tragic happens, at least for now. I do like the fact of the added protection for the front of the truck! Dave
  4. Mopar1973Man, Seems to think it will be too restrictive so I'm going to leave it at that mostly because of the connections are very closed. Dave
  5. For sale? Your Wife? Sorry, couldn't resist! So your going to be making up a full setup? Cool
  6. Great information, thanks again, LiveOak!
  7. Hi LoveOak, Thanks for taking the time to put all the posts up. Yes I will overfill, plan on putting in a street "L" so that should get me to the 2 qt overfill. I will read all, I'm sure I'll enjoy. Thanks, Dave
  8. I got the South Bend 13' single disc! Is yours working out better? Dave
  9. Like the the bumper. How heavy a gauge steel? What's it weigh?
  10. Is the NV5600 the 6 speed? Mines a out of a 2001. Thank you, Dave We used to call the synchromesh transmissions in my Hot Rod neighborhood growing up synchrosmash! That's how my buddies used to shift them too! :-)
  11. Oh boy, not good news, I'm thinking the same. Where is this sector shaft located? Dave
  12. I will have to remember those hookup points in the PDC! Thanks, Dave
  13. That I'd like to be able to see & help out on. The HE351VE is on my bucket list!
  14. Had all 4 ball joints done, new stabilizer, new Borgeson steering shaft & a fresh alignment. I think I may have to try & tighten up my steering box a 1/4 turn next!
  15. I'm going to have to take mine out & see if I could put some firmness back into my drivers seat. When I had my truck repainted 2 years ago. I had the seat repaired but it didn't last, cheap foam maybe. A lot of the guys stuff pool noodles in the 80's Mercedes seats to give them some support, not sure if that would work in my situation or not. Dave
  16. An Ebrake is on my wish list too. They're around a thousand bucks, even more, I'd like to have one of the new, think there VE style of turbo, where the vanes open close as needed, for performance or stopping! Dave
  17. I need to follow this one, my steering when changing lanes floats a little to much, unnerving mostly, esp if towing something! I'm 2WD as well. Dave
  18. Sorry about your unfortunate accident, so were you able to keep traveling. The situation gets tougher when your towing. What happens to the big camper, does it get left at the scene if the truck is disabled? Just asking, luckily I've never been in that troubling situation! Good luck, Dave
  19. I wouldn't sandblast anything unless you're going to rebuild the turbo, blasted sand gets into everything! Ka-blewy!
  20. So that's like my truck. So no matter what,in other words the RV275's will give a total output of 275 hp.would 10 more hp be a noticeable difference? Michael are those Rv275's for sale? Still usable? How many miles on them? Dave
  21. Sorry! So what are the model #'s of a 3rd gen turbo. Would love one with engine brake built in! How difficult of a swap is that?
