I started running into contradictions with max pressures of the vp44 and p7100. If you have a manual tranny you can put it in the highest gear (5th or 6th) and set the parking brake and then the engine won't budge.

The IAT fooler is only meant to correct winter mileage.. It doesn't make hot weather mileage better because the IAT already sees hot (ambient) temperatures. If you are over 60*F ambient, I would say you won't notice much at all. To confirm this though, could you guys all try and get on level ground and record your IAT's and ambient at say 60mph? We are all across the board so a guy at 60F and a guy at 20F would be perfect. Record boost as well since higher boost will have an affect. Oh and let us know if this is with or without a winter front. If one guy has one and the other doesn't then it will be a little uhhh yeah, skewed data.

If you start to research this crap like the specs of things you will find this everywhere. All you can do is get 5 different opinions and if there is a doubt, then do it. There is a doubt so I would check. It's simple to do and really fun cause you get to see all the shiny gears and that makes it all worth while And yeah without a doubt I could get there on a tank haha

Yeah I thought about it all last night and researched some this morning and talked with AH64 about it and it seems it is there for emissions. When you retard it under high load which is when that notch gets used, it reduces cylinder pressure which reduces the NOX output. That is why the 180 pump is the diamond in the rough, biggest pump without the notches.

Wasn't the throttle cable a recall on these things? Maybe it is hanging or something. So you are saying when you let off it stops at 1100ish for a second then drops back down? If I read correctly and thats the case then you might watch the throttle cable next to the pump, have someone rev it up and see if the cable hangs for a sec then gets "unhung" and pulls it back to idle.

Thanks Tom! I thought the clicks served some purpose but figured I would leave it in question. I just went out and took the delivery valve out to take back to my place to make another movie on. They took the delivery valves out before I got this pump so I had to barrow them from my own truck lol. It's freezing out here. Somehow my truck started not too shabbily (20* timing, only took 5 seconds of cranking). 30F outside.

My truck revs to 3000 with a load and 3500 without so I've never had a reason to mess with it. I'd just take the pump off if I were to want to do it though

PC fan is 12V. Look for one of the big wall wart plugs like your phone or something uses that says 12V DC output. It's a transformer/rectifier to get it down to 12V then to get it to DC. Thats the only way to make it work. You will blow it up with 120V. The amperage needs to be adequate too. Like 0.2 ampsish (200 mA)

I had a guy comment on that list video saying he wanted this. I searched and searched and cannot believe there isn't anything on it other than directions. Finally got around to doing this. Apparently youtube thinks I'm a loser now so I had to split it up. Other one is still loading but I'm leaving so it will pop up when it's done. Let me know what you guys think.

Ok it was my theoretical explanation to why they popped based on nothing I can prove (CF people). In my video at 0* you sure didn't hear mine pop, it just petered out. I don't know if going to -10 or further would make it pop though and I didn't floor it so maybe if I did it would pop. I think it's evident all the guys who talk about them popping just hold it to the floor to see if the symptoms magically go away. My truck has never popped so I have no idea about the issue other than when I helped the one guy and while his truck was still purging a few air bubbles and he held it to the floor, it revved way up as it finally got the air out and popped a few times. I'll have to dig up the valve things you want. I know the exhaust valve opened way before BDC, like 20* or something.

No that one sounded more like it had some other issue that was hindering fuel, clogged fuel filter, who knows. What I am talking about is actual popping like backfiring caused by the combustion still taking place when the exhaust valve opens, which means very retarded timing is a key culprit.

For having MS, you sure do nice work! I don't know anyone with MS but you make it sound bad so to still do stuff that most people can't do is pretty amazing. I think you have a lot of drive in you. Keep up the good work!

Seems that worked pretty good. But I wonder if other things contributed to it. Of course I have no clue but an antigun reporter could use that against guns or something. My uncle lives in kansas city and he went to gun shop and said there are hoards of people buying guns. I know all of these people were wanting it for self defence and thats fine. My only concern is most of these people might not really be aware of a guns power. It's not just some knife you can throw under the couch cushion and get it when someone tries to break in, its something that basically anyone can use. A 2 year old can pull the trigger with ease. So my only thing on gun control is something needs to happen so they aren't just sitting there. Kids might not even know what they are if they are 2 or something, pull the trigger and bam. There are a lot of people out there who grow fond of the gun and just leave it laying around like a box of tissues and then someone comes over and they forget about it and they grab it. So we just need to have a little more common sense in that regards. My dad has his locked up all the time, I don't know the code, I don't know where the key is. If you don't have the gun on your side the entire time then I doubt you'll have time to get it even if its under the couch when the robber breaks in and instantly shoots you if thats his intent. But I want to go after the issue of the mind corruption that brings them to the level of lunacy. I don't think obama's going to get anywhere banning assault weapons and high round clips when there are millllions in america.

I've watched a lot of videos lately, talked with a couple facebookers as well, and nothing points to the gun. One even more interesting thing I found was one of my facebookers has lived in other countries and claims that the media doesn't publicize the events that happen over there like they do here. So I was talking about how the netherlands had no crime because they had no guns...well that mighta been wrong. They might have just as many crimes as we do over here. I think the media here and everywhere else are 2 different things. As you can see I swing back and forth on the issue as I learn more facts and I want to keep learning. This thread was full of many facts so me and some other people want to see it keep going. I heard 2 firefighters got shot in NYC trying to save a guy or something. Stuff needs to change.
