  1. IBMobile where did you get the T fitting,nice set up ,would you know the threads on the T?With my gauge kit all I have is a clamp and insulation for external set up.

  3. what's the best spot to install my isspro gauge temp sensor? The kit gives me 3 options, the sensor is 1/8 npt.Is there a port on the tranny or is the inline set up accurate?

  6. Thanks man! I think I,ll keep going with my project... gauges then smarty programmer,doing gears must be big bucks, did anybody ever switch gears before doing upgrades?How much for a gear set?I'll try E bay for my gauges, for Craigslist probably U.S?
  7. Am I better to go to different gearing before doing mods,that is probably big $.Can you buy the gears only to replace?

Thanks Tyler,your profiles shows you have the Smarty s03 do you recommend that one with my 35's or should I go with a different programmer,don'y really need much power just enough to pull a fifth wheel camper.I kind of like the smarty has you can enable high idle and you can pick up troubleshooting code..

  11. I presently have the fuel & boost,I'll shop around for the tranny and egt temp than go with the SMARTY,as of now the truck seems gutless, when I bought the truck it had 31" tires went with 35's would that make a big difference power wise?

  13. just got the tranny done(326000 km) billet torq convertor(heavy duty multi plate)in the tranny HD clutches,bands,service press switch & press sensor,shift kit& filters,trans cooler flush.Is the smarty a good choice for programmer,should I do the intake filter and exhaust before the programmer?My fuel for now no mods I get 19 at idle and roughly 14 wot.I was thinking about increasing the fuel lines to the primary pump,the puck style so you don't have to remove the tank cause I'll probably run low in fuel pressure with the programmer.
  14. on my 01 I replaced the primary pump to a fass ddrp,then got the 47re overhauled,I presently have 35" tires on ,seems gutless my turbo pressure is roughly 20 psi,my diff"s are 3.55,don't want to go extreme maybe 100 hp max.what should I focus on next??
  15. when increasing the turbo boost do you have to increase the original exhaust size,can you simply by the elbow and crank it up?

  19. Talked to the specialist and mentioned they're almost the same ,should I ask him to set up the lock up switch?For sure I'll hook up a temp sensor what is the best set up for the temp sensor

  21. For all the years I owned my 2001 2500 cummins I taught I had a 47re but our tranny specialist at home told me they're all 48re in 2001?

  23. the steal line beside the adjustment screw is this the line to blow the oil out of the coolers - - - Updated - - - Is it possible to check for wear on the bands,are they easy to replace? - - - Updated - - - where is the location of the check valve to prevent the torq convertor from draining when sitting for a long time?
