my truck starts good,but when temperature is below 32 farenheit,the grid heater will cycle until the engine warms up a bit,is this normal?

where can I purchase this unit?

Mine is a 2001 ,they recommend Aluguard??

never seen that product before,I'm from Canada maybe it runs under a different name

In my manual they recommend anti freeze with Aluguard 340 -2,what's special about it? Is the pink antifreeze extended life good for the cummins?

so my 2001 might have different thread size than the 98.5?

on my 2001 the filter element comes out from the top & the outlet of the filter seems to come out from the bottom to the vp.Is this the same as the 98.5?

I want to modify to a big line kit,I work in a hydraulic shop,I can get these fittings if somebody can help with the thread size

Is the thread of the banjo fittings metric or british,I would like to replace them.

What's the thread size on the oem filter and vp pump?

My truck is stock I went with the Fass ddrp2 with the oem filter no modification ,when idling 16 psi,at 50 mph 13 psi and pulling a heavy load 10 psi,I guess eventually I will have to replace the vp44 at those pressures,some guys mentioned they increased the fuel line sizes past the oem filter,what do I need to do to increase it.My gauge is set up at the banjo before the vp44.Should I go with bigger fuel lines or just go with a higher flow pump?

Good for you Brian,I've been dealing with that problem for a long time,tried everything but never changed the alternator,but last trial worked good so far ,over 2 weeks and no problems,I installed the BD noise isolator and all good so far.So for now nobody really nows the cure !!!!!:cookoo:

What about transmission shifting,somebody told me there is programmers out there that will do a different pattern of shifting when you enter the bigger size tires

A few months ago I lost the speakers on the driver side ,now I only have 1 speaker left on passenger side ,not sure if the problem lies in the radio or wiring?

I stepped up from 31" to 35"tires,should I install a programmer to compensate?
