  1. O.K. Question I assume that the IQuad monitors the CAN BUS, are the Brake lights on the CAN BUS? I have issues with the Automatic shifting into Reverse with the fast idle operating. Today got the truck into reverse to back up and then it started bucking and eventually died. So is there a way to get the high idle to turn off when driving? Or for us Automatics to be able shift into and out of gear? Thanks! Michael
  2. Got Lucky found Stock bumpers for my Rino lined Bumpers and Grill. IT is an eye full that is for sure. Any one want Rino lined Front and rear Bumpers including Rubber pads just let me know. Short of that they are going in the scrap bin!! I like the look but not enough to live with it the rest of my life! Michael
  3. Wonderful that is what I was looking for a bolt in solution!!! Thanks for your prompt response. Michael
  4. Does the Seat Bottom Happen Chance swap out with bolts or do I have to un-upholster the seat bottom and move the seat cushion pad over? The Seat Bottom is dead flat at the back where it meets the vertical part. Sorry just ignorant. Michael
  5. Hi All, I found a column from a 67,000 mile Steering Column on Criagslist, while looking for a Driver seat, tailgate, Bumpers... Parting out. So I found a column out of 98-01 Truck Gas 5.9 . So I assume that I have to swap the ignition switch and move the Overdrive off button over. Anything else I should know going into this? I have replaced the Clock spring with an OEM in my truck and it still makes noises while turning, at 320,000 nothing surprises me. I've read where there is a Bearing replacement at the bottom of the column, with a bushing, so I'll eyeball that prior to replacement. How robust is the intermediate shaft? No complaints I've added a Steering Brace between the frame rails and that helped with quite a bit of the hunting. Seat Cushions, same reason he has the drivers seat out of the same truck (67K Wreck), but it is manual and mine is power seat. Any problems in moving the cushions over? My Butt is sore. My wife says her seat is fine. I explained that every mile on the truck someone was sitting in the drivers seat. TIA Michael
  6. Glad to hear that. Hopefully good news on the Kidneys next! We are all pulling for you!! Michael
  7. HI Mike, Get well soon !! Ihope everything comes out alright! and that you get to have a HappyNew Year!!!! Dave110, just tell your doctor what I did. I told him he was boldly going where no man had gone before!!! Michael
  8. Yes I have 4.98 volts at the plug so the sensor wire is next on the list. The only good news is it is 12 inches from the ECM Plug. Still have to pull the harness to get too it. Michael
  9. Nope it did not. Bummer!! Back to the wires. I saw the gauge twitch once. So I'm thinking sensor wire now. Back to the drawing board. Michael

Yes I took about a month to find one. This has a detachable faces and is connected with a Ribbon cable. The vertical position is adjustable up or down in 1/2 increments. Might be 1/4 I just left it centered as it didn't foul my vents. The only caveat is that the locks for the ribbon cable are along for the ride. I thought that the unit was DOA, turns out that the ribbon cable has to pushed further in that the locks will push it. I have .090 to .125 between the lock and the back of the cable. Bluetooth works great now to figure out all the rest of the crap that it does. It does support Android Auto Play. The other thing that I need to figure out is how to dim the screen with the dash lights. I assume that there is a wire that controlled the factory Radio lights? I need to see what to do to interface with that. 8" screen is bright at night!!! Michael
  11. 8088 Wow that was modern. Actually I started with Punch cards (1974), and if you were smart you drew a diagonal line across your program so if you dropped the cards you could get them in order more quickly. We used to right programs and turn them in and they would run them on the School systems computer. In 1975 /1976 I used to Burst and Decollate started at 5:00 in the morning ( that was cut the roll feed paper off the checks and separate the carbon paper out of the reports from the dot matrix printer.) 1984 I think, I started with a Texas Instruments Professional Color Monitor and a color portable, had a color 6 " screen (took out a loan from Boeing credit union.) . My mom worked at the cafeteria at Microsoft and would talk the employees into buying me my software. 2 ea. 5 1/4 floppies no hard drive and 256 K of ram, and I paid extra for all that RAM!!! Lotus 123 was so handy and Word Prefect had a Spell checker, I was in heaven! I watch Big Bang theory and feel old because I used to play the games they talk about, Zork. Later in life I set up video conference with my parents over 56K dial up so that they could help the kids with their homework and be involved in their lives. Michael
  12. The Only problem that I can see is it is your garage and not mine!!!! :- ) Looks great! Michael

O.K. So I bought a Joying with an 8" screen. The main goal was Bluetooth. Unfortunately it only handles one Bluetooth at a time. So I added the Samsung TabElite. The Black Samsung in the previous photo was a Sprint device and it seemed to spend all it's time trying to connect to Sprint. This Tab was a straight tablet and not connected to a wireless service, much smoother, plus I can use a Micro SD to transfer tunes. So it took 3 clamp holders to find a spring loaded one that clamps in the middle of the tablet. I did have to lace the holder to the dash to keep it from bouncing all over the place, and to get the angle correct so I can see it from the seat. I like it so far. I am really liking this Quadzilla V2!!
  14. I was an idiot and threw the old sensor away. I would bet that the old oil pressure sensor was still good!! My MAP Sensor was! Michael
  15. Thanks all. Appreciate the education, and assistance. Michael
  16. Thanks Michael
  17. When IQuad starts it installs system setting every time it starts!!! Is this normal? Time consuming. Michael
  18. No I'm running this on a Samsung Tab Elite. Nice display. Transfer tunes using a Micro SD. Just use it for the IQuad. Michael
  19. Hint Hint Hint.
  20. Hi All, Well I got it started. IQuad is installed and running and the MAP Sensor is working (Got up to 20 PSI Boost today on test run ). So now I want to understand. When IQuad starts it installs system setting every time it starts!!! Can you change the background colors? I want to make the numbers white and the borders for the numbers Light Blue. It's hard to see, especially in bright daylight. I have transition lenses in my glasses and they auto darken. Thanks! Michael

Well Sign me up. I bought a Clamp from Amazon and am moving mine up to the dash. I just put a Joying Stereo Head in with a detachable screen and it fit nicer than I thought. So now I don't want to run the IQuad through the stereo head, as the Bluetooth for the phone is primary goal. I wish I could change the IQuad screen a little, I'd like the numbers in white and the borders in Blue. Like Mike said it's hard to read. My glasses are transion and darken while driving. Hard to read the Samsung Display. I'll get a shot of the new stereo and Samsung tomorrow.
  22. Big Turbo and Big injectors take time to get the Boost up. The V2 really helps with it's ability to tie your less that factory fuel level to Boost Level! Michael
  23. Just got back from a WOT test and got up to 20# of boost. V2 Tune Works Great!! No Smoke, only in O.D. and laying on the throttle. YEA Baby, So much fun when it works!! Oil pressure sending unit next week and then I can loose that pesky check gauges light. I wish that I had not thrown that original Oil pressure sending unit away. It was probably still good. Oh well lesson learned. Michael
  24. O.K. So I measured at the MAP Sensor. I had 4.98 volts at the plug. Pulled the Aftermarket MAP Sensor and the O-Ring was torn up. Replaced it with the old Factory MAP Sensor and correct O-Ring, and it worked once again, and I was able to clear the CEL. Ordered a Factory Oil Pressure sensor. It also now measures 4.98 volts at the plug. Michael
  25. Well It turns out that my Oil Pressure and MAP Sensors was the defective 5 volt source. And the replacement sensors are not working. I replaced the aftermarket MAP Sensor, with the old OEM and it started to work again. I just bought a new Oil Pressure sensor from a member here and will install it next week. I had 4.98 volts from Red to Black wire on both MAP and Oil Pressure plug. Didn't ohm the sensor. Sorry I have a second gauge screwed in at the filter second plug. Michael
