This problem has me stumped!
It is still working for me!!!! And yes I was able to reset the Check engine light. Michael

Oil Pressure gauge
Well if the electronics is acting up I would screw in a mechanical gauge to verify that you in fact have oil pressure. You have too much invested in that motor to not!!!! My factory electronic gauge is still acting up but I'm thinking Ground on the 5v system. I'm running a second Oil pressure gauge. Michael

Buying a rolled over truck.
My friends dad used to come and get me out of Sunday school and take me to SIR to watch his son run his 1970 Hemi Challenger. I was eventually allowed to clean the Rubber off the Quarter panels!! Those were the days. Eventually I went to work for him at his machine shop. Good education. Michael His Dad would let me drive his 64 300 on the race track road course when it was closed. It had an rectangular steering wheel. Looked like a 14 in TV Screen.

2001 No MAP Sensor after Quadzilla Installation
O.K. So I got my head out of the clouds (head cold). Had a senior moment. I went looking for and a found a +5 v reference voltage shortage. I should have at the same time tested for and looked for a poor ground reference! Now I have to go back into the loom and look for that after I meter it at the plug. I tested between the Battery and +5 v on the MAP plug but I didn't measure the critical measurement across the pins in the plug. I'm willing to bet that I will find no ground or a crappy one at best. Two sides to a coin. And three connections to our sensors. Will work on it this weekend. Michael

2001 Oil Pressure Gauge None Responsive; MAP Sensor Low Voltage
Boy do I fell like quite the fool. Total tunnel vision. Always remember there are 2 sides to a coin. Or in this case there are three connections to the sensors. Power +5 reference, signal out and Ground. So I went after and found a bad connection to feed +5 volt power to my MAP and Oil Pressure sensors. What I failed to look for, and will probably find, was a poor connection to GROUND for the same sensors. So this week end I have to lean on friends to once again pull the loom out so that I can find and fix the poor ground connection. Still no Oil Pressure gauge and MAP Sensor. I'm reading +5v to the connector for the map sensor but that measurement was made from Battery ground to MAP plug. I forgot to meter across the plug itself. The sensors will not function without a Ground. Back to it this weekend. Feel like a fool!!! Michael.

P0237 Code
Well I just went through this on my 2001. What I found was that the 5 volt reference voltage connection where it split from the ECM to the Oil pressure gauge and the MAP Sensor had 1,000 ohms resistance. Should be 0 ohms. Cut it out and soldered the wires together. Sealed with Heat shrink tubing and hot glue. Pulled the harness out the bottom in front of the front axle. Cut it open from there. Rewrapped with vinyl tape. 4.9 volts at the MAP And the OIL pressure sending unit!! Your 1999 could be different. My junction was 12-14 in in front (towards the front axle, they bunched the excess wire there) of the ECM junction. Good Luck. Michael

2001 No MAP Sensor after Quadzilla Installation
Just ran the ODBEC Scanner and it is only reporting an over voltage on the MAP sensor. So apparently it had adjusted down to the voltages as they evolved. I guess I'll drive it at this point and see if the Oil Pressure gauge and MAP sensor come around. Checked the Blue Tooth ODBEC Reader and it is reporting a P0237. So hopefully the ECM just needs to relearn the running voltage.

2001 No MAP Sensor after Quadzilla Installation
I fixed it. And now I still have issues and Thus my confusion. ( I posted under oil pressure gauge no response.) I'll try again tomorrow. I was just fishing if someone else had issues after installing IQuad. Thanks!

2001 No MAP Sensor after Quadzilla Installation
Right you are. But I'm not showing any Boost and I have 5 volt reference voltage at the MAP sensor wire. And I thought that would fix my oil pressure sensor, same 5 volt reference and it didn't fix it. Gauge tests good with a cluster test. Michael

2001 No MAP Sensor after Quadzilla Installation
Hi All, So I thought that my issue was no 5 volt power to the MAP and Oil Pressure sensor. So I pulled the harness out and gutted it. Found the joint and it measured 1K ohms from ECM to sensors. Reinstalled and reconnected. Measured 5 volts on the (IQuad) red wire that plugs into the MAP Sensor. IQuad shows no boost! Check engine light is on. Manual says that might be normal for 3 or 4 key cycles. I'll drive it some more after I see what the oil leak is all about. Man I can not catch a break!! Thanks for any advice. Michael

Gremlin overload!
I bought a replacement from Larry B's store in Washington. Bought cable, cable ends and starter rebuild kit, and that got me to the free freight point. Pulled the starter while it was working and fed it the kit!!! Good Luck. Michael.

2001 Oil Pressure Gauge None Responsive; MAP Sensor Low Voltage
O.K. So planning on a 2,000 mile trip with the wife. Oil pressure gauge has not worked since purchase. Installed V2 Quadzilla. Immediately threw Low voltage for the MAP sensor. So the Oil Pressure Sender and the MAP Sensor Share the 5 volt reference voltage. So I had it. I took every thing loose that I could and then had a friends son come by and remove the rest of the harness. Dropped it down in front of the axle so that I could reach the Harness. The MAP sensor wires were twisted together and ran that way all the way to the bottom of the turn up for the ECM Plug. The wires were longer than that joint so they ran forward with the balance of the wires. So I continued to cut until I found the joint, it was 14- 18in forward of the ECM plug. Cut the Joint out Stripped back some wire and measured 1,000 Ohms through the joint to either of the sensors. So what does 5 volts drop to across a 1,00 ohms? I know it is current related but don't know what the gauges draw. Will Solder and Heat Shrink and rewrap the harness. Good time to re-practice my lacing. Crap I haven't laced a harness for 44 years. Oh well Just like riding a bicycle. Michael

IQuad will not connect to SAMSUNG Bluetooth
Crap, Hoping for an easy one for a change. Do they have a users forum? I couldn't find it listed. Now to report on No Oil Pressure gauge and Low MAP voltage. Hell of weekend!! Michael

IQuad will not connect to SAMSUNG Bluetooth
Also another question for the experts. My Quadzilla has an internal relay that clicks when I connect power to it. That doesn't make sense for the life of that relay it is always made? Seems counter intuitive. Why not use the N.C> contacts and activate the relay when required instead of all the time? Michael

IQuad will not connect to SAMSUNG Bluetooth
Yea I'm just wasting monies at this point! No Fun in that. What I read was installing the custom tunes so I bought a Micro SD card on Black Friday. I can download all my Tunes to it.

IQuad will not connect to SAMSUNG Bluetooth
Hi All, on my second Samsung Tablet. I bought a Samsung Tab A to use and it would not connect to the play store, to download the App. So I just got a Samsung SM-T113 tablet, Samsung TAB ELITE. I have upgraded it to the latest Android 4.4.4 and it will not connect to the IQuad V2. It sees it but will not connect. What am I missing? Help please. Thanks Michael

iQuad BT tablet/phone setups
What's the secret to getting the Samsung TAB E to work with IQuad? I bought one on the Bay and it won't Bluetooth to my IQuad V2. Any advice greatly appreciated. I want to play!!!!! I bought a Samsung TAB A and it was so old that it wouldn't go to the play store and download the App. So bought Samsung SM-T113, to no joy. Android 4.4.4 Michael

A Couple of Questions for Mopar1973Man
So I used to buy 150 amp fuse for the wheelchair lifts we ran a 00 cable from the battery box on the bus to the lift DC power unit. We installed a Buss 150 fuse and holder at the battery compartment. Can't find the one we used but Del City is really helpful. https://www.delcity.net/store/MEGA-Fuse-Holders/p_795652.h_795653 https://www.delcity.net/store/MIDI-Fuses/p_819005.h_819004.r_IF1003?mkwid=s&crid=38094426869&mp_kw=&mp_mt=&gclid=Cj0KCQiAuf7fBRD7ARIsACqb8w6ux2b5l3VfrYg0T1MM8w1A-SW1WjkECgyF1OZ025Gli9Aa-Wdi6i8aAoRiEALw_wcB This reminds me of the Frog giggers that the headlight fuse burned out and they noticed that a 22LR fit in the fuse holder, in place of the fuse. Cost one of them a Testical if I remember.

New Tire Size found 235's to 245's
Yea it's a three wire, 2001.5 . Schematic shows that the Oil pressure and it share the 5 volt reference voltage. My pulling on it to connect must have finished off the connection that it had. So now I am forced to fix it, and the Oil Pressure sending unit power.

New Tire Size found 235's to 245's
O.K. So I found some LT265 75 R 16 Take offs from someone that went Big. So those are going on to start with. I did notice that now I have to drive the truck up on wood otherwise my chest hits, when I try to crawl underneath, where as I used to have clearance. Just got the IQuad installed after a months delay. Had the Truck in the body shop getting the skin cancer cured and some wrinkles removed. Installed the IQuad to it throwing codes that the MAP sensor voltage is low. So I'm sure the IQuad won't function correctly. Now to see why that and the oil pressure sensor that share the 5v source don't work. Michael
