The Ball joints have been replaced a couple of times already. I just got the MEVOTECH control arms and was not impressed with their ball joints. I replace them with the NAPA Heavy Duty

Lots of decent parts for the 4x4 crowd, but the 2WD livng in the flatland camper towing crowd is left with Chain store replacements. What would you use Moparman in a 2WD truck?

The other stuff available locally is crap. The ball joints I replaced were the heavy duty ones from Oreillys; Didn't last 2 years. The ones that came with the new control arms were spindy looking lightweights also. I' just have to see for myself how the moog stuff holds up.

I have a Blue Chip pump, and I a m pleased. I am sorry to hear some customers had an issue when dealing with them. The reason I bought from them, is at the time the were the only vendor selling with a new computer also

I can buy the bushings separate, and the ball joints. I can also get a complete kit from Rock auto. With 348K on the odometer I think a thorough refresh is in order

As in I am in the process of doing deck maintenance, this is a timely topic. For all the top rails and handrails I am using abatron epoxy wood preservative. for the deck just using Olympic Clear sealer. The prep is where I spent many hours, sanding and resetting screws. Of course the helpful folks and work suggesting the plastic deck coating. If I wanted plastic wood I would have installed trex. I like the look and feel of real wood

Well I'm in the same boat, but I also have a bade brake line and a worn ball joint. Looks like an expensive trip to NAPA is in order
