Where to buy seat cushions for front seats?
Yes the material is available. He says it will match. He said he would have to order a yard of it and then the gray for the sides. If you need some I can see if he would be willing to get some extra in for you.

Where to buy seat cushions for front seats?
Dually, I have looked at the picture in your posts now and tried to decide what it is, and for the life of me I can't figure it out. Could you help me out and tell me what it is?

Where to buy seat cushions for front seats?
Well today I stopped by an upholstry shop. The guy will make a new seat bottom cover (with matching material) and fix the foam in the seat for $200. Out of curiousity, I called Dodge and got a price on a new seat bottom cover and foam. $878.00.:wow:So I guess it's off to the upholstery shop for me...How is it that Chrysler has had financial problems with prices like this?

Bolt Sizes
I don't know poo from shinola regarding bolts, but I have noticed that stainless is a seems to be a softer metal than regular steel and tends to break off easier. I really love using them myself, but have to be very careful to use a torque wrench. I tend to gorilla grip them as my wife says. I wonder if the stainless has the same hardness rating as the steel?

bhaf?s
You know talking about this made me think of when I first put mine (BHAF) on. The noise level was noticably higher (turbo) and it kind of bothered me for a while. I don't even notice it now. I do have to ask my wife to repeat herself more often. She says I am going deaf, so maybe I take the silencer ring out, cut the muffler off and speed things along... It's funny, in life you end up the same way you started, bald and pissing yourself.

Auto Trans - Truck in gear for warm up?
Does it have to be set to level 3 to load the idle feature? I have mine set at level 1. The guy I bought it from scratched his head and couldn't understand why I wouldn't run it higher. I just wanted the fuel economy and high idle was an extra. I would also like to keep my transmission in one piece.

I told you my wife can cook. Come and visit, and get high idle to boot... I think the thing will probably work in the morning it's colder than a witches ninny here tonight.

Fuel pressure??
There will be fluctuations do to fuel demand from the engine. My Air Dog 100 is putting out 18 psi at idle and 14-15 psi at wide open throttle. Mopar Man has a video on here somewhere to demonstrate this. It shows him driving his truck with camera is on his fuel pres. gauge while under load and idling.

I recently bought a Smarty. (set on 1 for fuel economy) When does the high idle kick in? It hasn't happened yet. Maybe not cold enough.

Fuel pressure??
I installed the AD100 this past summer. I am happy with it and am running pressure in the ranges that Mike stated above. However, I did install the higher pressure spring (17 PSI) they supply with the Air Dog. (be sure you get one with your pump) A word to the wise, it is much easier to install that 17 PSI spring on the workbench, rather than under the truck after you realize that 15 PSI isn't good enough. That diesel fuel shower one gets is just priceless, when you unhook the lines for the first time without pinching off the fuel line upstream to stop the flow. Oh what a video that would have made. Wifey just loves the smell at the dinner table...and the bathroom and the, well you get the picture.

I also am running the napa 6637. I made a bracket and hooked it to an exhisting bolt on the inside of the fender. Instead of a hole I made a slot (where it bolts to the fender) so all I have to do is loosen the bolt and the bracket slides off the bolt (upward) and stays attached to the filter. It takes two minutes to remove the filter now.

Bio Diesel Fuel 2010 Ram 3500
I checked today, and there is no bio-diesel at Walmart where I buy my fuel.

Where to buy seat cushions for front seats?
I have searched ebay and the web and have found nothing. One site (I think it was ebay) had the lower cushion for the 3rd gen. seats. It is really amazing that this part isn't offered by someone. There is certainly a market for it. I too thought LMC would have this, but they don't show it in their catalog. There is a upholstry shop in the area. I am going to check with them this week to see what they offer. My seat isn't too bad, but having back problems I thought I might have a little less pain if I replaced the cushion.

Where to buy seat cushions for front seats?
You know, with all of these trucks lasting many hundreds of thousands of miles, one would think that these suppliers would sell a seat cushion. They wear out! They offer every other nut, bolt, and part that this truck needs, but not foam for the seats.Go figure...

Steering box brace
A friend of mine replaced his steering box with a Red Head a few years ago. As I remember, it was a trade-in deal where you get a rebuilt unit and send them back the core. For what it's worth, he has been very happy with the Red Head unit. He said they oversized everything, and used top grade materials to make the box tight and dependable. His truck is a one ton dump that gets some harsh use. His truck recently had a head on collision with a telephone pole, (without him in it) with a backhoe on a trailer behind it. Really mashed the front end and bent up the frame and steering gear. The red head box was still good and was about the only thing he could reuse on the front end.Oh, and for those that are wondering how the heck that happened. He parked on a hill (manual transmission) and used the emergency brake to hold it while getting out and check the binders on the backhoe. You can guess the rest of the story... He couldn't run fast enough to catch it! The binders were fine. Truck... not so.

Where to buy seat cushions for front seats?
My drivers seat cushion is starting to crush on the outside edge. Having no running boards takes it toll. Does anyone know of a supplier that makes these.I haven't checked with Dodge yet. I thought I would see if someone else makes them as Dodge is not known for having reasonable prices.

Bio Diesel Fuel 2010 Ram 3500
Maybe certain areas are different. I use Walmart fuel all the time. Their station is called "Optima" however, my receipt from the pump says Sunoco on it. In my area Walmart sells more fuel to heavy trucks than anyone else locally. All of the county school buses fill up there as well. I haven't noticed a bio diesel sticker on the pump. I will look the next time I fill up.

Rare look at a 20K mile 2nd gen. 2500
Now there is a 2001 with 27,000 miles on ebay. Same color red as Mikes. It's a short bed quad cab. It must be the bad economy bringing these garage queens to market.

Dave, I had to enter all of what you listed and tried to go to it. It took me to the Cummins forums main page, but no specific thread.

2001 QCSB or 1999 QCLB DRW
Well at least you don't have all the headache of the initial change over. I hate that part of getting another truck. Getting it the way you want it isn't easy or cheap, and the worry of the gremlins is always present.Good luck with your search. I will keep an eye out for you if you would like. I am only an hour west of Winchester.

Well it is back on the auction block again. The seller says the winning bidder didn't pay up. I wonder if it wasn't a shill bidder and the bid didn't go high enough. We shall see...

Your truck is a bit more marketable due to mileage and being newer.Duallys are nice, but not as many people need one, so the market is slower on them. This works in your favor.I would ask for $2,000 difference and work from there. Also, is it a 53 block? This is a bargaining point if it is.
