RV Battery Charging From Trucks Alternator
you may have diodes that keep the charge inside the battery instead of loosing it to the night sky, but diodes do inhibit a good charge level desired, so as for me I would just bring the panels back inside

AH64ID, I've read that a charge controller is important to turn off and disconnect the panel from the battery at night. Something about the stars and planets will pull every ounce of energy out of your batteries thru the panel.

Killer this isn't France it is the U.S.A. with a good strong work ethic, good strong morals, and a leader in setting examples to our children. We do not expose ourselves to ladies at the urinal and vis versa. I'm sorry but, that is the way it is supposed to be. God wants us to be that way, not judging either. If these people who are not an ethnic minority btw, (their actions are degrading to real minorities) cannot accept our American culture as was originally founded on religious freedom..... well then why can't they stop offending true Americans and our history in this land?

I saw the rolling stones in person. Either at the Philmore or some other place but, I know I saw them. They plated like they were all stoned that night.

removing fuel sending unit
What did you do to resupport the bed frame that is cut? Specifically the passenger side frame... I had to make a front to rear support for that.

I must be so old.... so out of touch that I have no idea who they are. Like the Prince guy that just died yesterday.... I've never heard of him till yesterday. To me... the only Prince I know is Jesus Christ. Sorry if that offends anyone... I cannot help the way I was raised and the way my thoughts run. W&F yeah, by my age 21-23% of my loved classmates are all gone now. Some I still cry over cause they were the best sort and had so much fun ridin around in those 50's cars. It was cool times for us back then.

This is one more step in the wrong direction for America because how you going to explain to your kids about what they see? Anyhow it's one more example of how one generation, without Christ in their heart is backing another for the sake of rebellion. It was foretold in scripture.

good point Dave..... what are they going to do for a picture so you know which one? I wonder if we have to be careful about this subject so we don't get into trouble? And that's on our own forum too

Thank you for the nice notes about my family going thru that. I appreciate it. You know some of these controversial conflicts we got into, I try to stay positive by realizing that at least we exercised our military might, showing some of the bad leaders of this world that they better think twice before messing with us. I think we have made the world a safer place as a result.

Yes thank you for sharing that. My Dad was killed in Vietnam while on rescue duty sleeping in a helicopter. It was blown up with him inside and left 7 of us kids paying the price for no father while growing up. We experienced some of the price of freedom.

Maybe Dave had that poured in his early days not realizing it was the wrong address . He he he It looks like a small walkway that went down the side of a shop back there. Have you ever used a metal detector back there?

Nick what is or was the strip of concrete for going the middle of your yard? That's how it has been weather wise here in Oregon... one day your shivering trying to get the truck heater going and then the next day it's 80 degrees

RV Battery Charging From Trucks Alternator
My camper basement under the floor will store them fine being 5 ft. long and about 3 ft. wide. But its only 14 inches high and with bar-b-que and chairs I would have to jostle things around for storing the panels. I'll have to figure something out as I like that free power. Thanks Michael for the education on how well they do and don't work in sun verses shade. That was great to read. I thought you always got enough power even filtered shade if long enough charge times occur, but, I can see that a full day isn't enough without full sun. Glad you had time today to do this for me. Very nice of you to help me understand.

What's going on?
Nice antique rifle too. I thank you for some education on this. I do have a 65 caliber flint lock pistol and couple modern day hunting rifles. My dang shoulder is out now so I can't lift up the rifles to shoot. Never had so much pain. I have to rest the rifle on something in order to aim.

So yours aren't the multi crystalline type mike? If so I'm very interested about that. I want mine on the roof even though I'm a shade type guy also. At least they'll work while parked for shopping/ eating and on route. IBM, I like Michael Nelson answers.... He is an electrical engineer and that's terrific that he takes time for us around here.
