  1. You guys don't understand my question...... What I'm asking is why doesn't Apple simply tell the FBI what is on the phone and thereby not reveal the encryption code???
  2. Yep I have seen young children better behaved..... act like spoiled little brats. If I was running for office, I would tell them go ahead find all you can about my past, blab all the bad you can muster, but I'm not getting caught up in it that stupid little game.... I'm moving forward to solving the mess we are in. BY THE WAY... Why does Apple have to be so unpatriotic about decoding that terrorists phone? Why make such a big deal about it with the news, when all Apple has to do is, not reveal the code, just tell the FBI what's one the phone?? How stupid..... trying to tell the government that Apple can do whatever they want instead of trying to work this out. I think there is a story here that involves a lot of BS. I won't be buying Apple products anymore.
  3. Thanks Mike another tool to get in the bag behind the seat. Even if a guy had one of the larger flat bars I bet that would do it too.
  4. I think your right on that too. Its like the government is trying to make all diesel engines politically correct with gassers so no one has an advantage over the other.
  5. I really appreciate this information. Up to this point I was thinking of getting an NPR diesel box truck for my biz. Was wanting one real bad, I thought. Thank you Will.
  6. I cannot imagine what kind of mentality it takes to destroy innocent people like that. Dave not to mention, the stupidity of destroying buildings that take so much work to complete like you and I know is such hard work and demands so much resources..
  7. Good point about disconnecting the ground on the battery. In this case I don't think the occupants could have released the hood latch. Mini van was laying on its side after rolling once or twice. Makes me think of having an emergency disconnect easily reached by emergency personal. I'd like to see a video sometime of that and I'm thinking of getting a video cam for my truck and just run it when on the highway.
  8. Did you reframe a lot of it making it stronger?
  9. He probably carried that water too. Funny you should post this as I think that is what America might look like some day if we don't protect our borders.
  10. I stopped for the only unassisted wreck I have ever seen. Now this mini van was on it's side with others trying to get the four elderly folks out but the doors would not open. I could see fluid leaking and some smoke coming off the engine but so many people had stopped I had to park quite a ways away. By the time I got there with my fire extinguisher emergency service was now on scene from the other side of the highway. I was very surprised after looking around to find that I was the only one with an extinguisher in hand. That thing could have burst into flames at any moment and from now on the extinguisher won't be the only one in my RV. Should always carry one in the cab.
  11. Lefty Morgan the gun slinger?
  12. I've been hurt in a motorcycle crash, fallen in construction a couple times, sawed off a couple fingers that got reattached. I just want to say these injuries were very minor and yet hurt so darn much you begin to realize how trading a little safety for speed just isn't worth it. Some pain stays with you the rest of your life. It just ain't worth it.
  13. Should always have a good fire extinguisher that can handle fuel /oil fires. I'm going to buy one and mount it in the truck.
  14. I'm probably not on the right track here but it seems to me I read about a bad overflow valve causing symptoms like yours. Check for clean new fuel filters and may want to drop the tank and see if the fuel is clean there. Check screens for clogs on the bottom of the fuel module. My second guess is you have an air leak causing fuel drain back to the tank or sucking in air on the suction side of the lift pump. Running rough like that means air in the lines. Check injectors for snug down as air getting in that way can cause tank drain back .
  15. I cannot imagine living somewhere it never freezes. Seems very comical to me. Does that mean the ladies around very scantily clad? I have read that a few ounces of Johnsons baby oil is best for valve seals.
  16. Well at least this old fart has more to say than those air bags running the country ya rascal head
  17. I put a new roof on for a very nice lady and at the end of the job she gave me a Snap-On torque wrench. It was her husbands when he was alive. Years before we worked together putting new siding on his house. They were cool and very proud of that tool..... I will always remember them.
  18. Belt sander Dave, Air bags do help the rear springs from wearing out over time.
  19. I did the 2'' level kit and the differential was off center by 3/4 of an inch. It also had a slight vibration at 60 mph. When I turned the adjustable track bar so everything was back to center the vibration stopped. Then I had to install air bags in the rear to stop the squat when loaded. I was very happy what the air bags did for helping to stop the sway when loaded with my camper. So my situation ended up all for the good.
  20. Isn't that bad for the rubber gaskets on the valves causing them to dry out? I usually close them and add some rv antifreeze to keep the valves covered. I also make sure the rv antifreeze is not the alcohol base stuff that dries them out, but is the good stuff.
  21. I keep a checklist in the back of the map book on the seat and check down the list before leaving. Things like thermos, food, clothes, cell phone charger, money and false teeth. has come in real handy.
  22. Is it scary when you reach the 5500 feet off the ground? It would seem at 120 mph free fall that the ground is coming up awful fast.
  23. Somehow I got the impression they were the same company called Pureflow and that 'AirDog' was the name of the pump. Thanks for the clarification. How would you make sure that you did not get one with the flawed design? I guess Eric would know
  24. Went on Week long boat ride. Glad to be out there. No in the tank pumps on those twin diesels!
  25. Thanks Nick.... my AD100 has been flawless for about 5 years now. Notice some weakness when hauling heavy running up hill. I think they have gotten over the problem with fuel getting into the electric motor.
