Lift pump issue
Are you using Napa rebuilt alternators? If so, that is the problem. Ive used both alternators and starters from Napa auto that were junk and didnt even last a year. On other trucks not my cummins. . I did use a Napa starter on my CTD and it went bad in less than a year (bad armature or field windings) Im not impressed with what Napa peddles even if does have lifetime warranty

Lift pump issue
Do you think the grid heaters heavy draw is a cause of the alternator diodes failing? I finally disconnected my grid heater a few months ago. Made it through winter with out it

- Loss of boost and power
My 99 has the ball and stud at the frame Ive been thinking all this time they changed that in 2001 to a bushing and through bolt Well, how come you guys havent installed a after market bracket and a 3rd gen bar? I thought you all did that already- Loss of boost and power
What about polyurethane bushing replacement instead of replacing the whole track bar? Dont the 2001s have the rubber bushings in each end that a bolt goes through ? .- ABS/Brake lights on
Greenlee your 1998 does not have no stinking front ABS Junk Neither does my '99 .- Loss of boost and power
Wow !,,,, 30 psi to a vp44,,, You da man ! .- New Fass Installed , Yeah...

Napa $34.00- New Fass Installed , Yeah...
Yep,,, No 1/8" NPT on either side. . Only compression fittings- Loss of boost and power
Did Eric at Vulcan recommend which particular spring for a Fass since he only sells airdog supply parts ?? I also remember reading, for what ever its worth, That too much fuel pressure to a VP44 is not good for it . For what ever reason...?? . .- Loss of boost and power
What is different about the "new" ball and spring that Fass sent you and what came in the pump ? .- 1999 2500 just shut down
Saved- Bumper plug
I had to go out and look at my bumper I dont have plugs in any of mine. Holes have never been used either I didnt know they had plugs Are the plugs black plastic or chrome metal ? . . I goggled https://www.ebay.com/i/131556063224?chn=ps&dispItem=1- fuel pressure needle valve and snubber
New needle valve snubber installed , Gauge is steady. Reads 15.5 psi with the needle valve , Before needle valve it read 17 psi . .- Lift pump issue
After a lot of research, I bought my ECM here: http://www.remanautoelectronics.com/dodge/cummins-78.aspx ts a partner company of Flight Systems https://www.fseg.net/ Its a Known good company I am very pleased with the ECM I got from them. It is completely re-manufactured, software upgrade and extensively tested Watch out for places that say "lifetime warranty". .- Lift pump issue
Mine always started. Just had to wait for the ECM to boot up indicated by when the WTS light came on. I had the delayed WTS light for years. Finally got a new ECM all problems were fixed .Rick - Loss of boost and power
