I had seen the diode kits at Larryb's . I pulled my alt to have a Local Small business strictly alternator / starter shop check the diodes etc. So I just let him replace the diode pack and brushes and re test. IIRC it was less than ordering fron LarryB's and he also gave me a year guaranty

IIRC isnt there a mark on the gear where the woodruff key is located, so you can get it up on TDC before you pull the gear ? Its been awhile since I did mine havent reviewed the procedure lately .

R & R ing the VP 44 is really pretty easy. Not much to it I had a old simple steering wheel puller like this for the front gear, easy as pie

Yep I put a Rat trap on top of my control center/ fuse box under the hood and caught one damn rat so far thats been pissing and shitting on my engine

Ive never heard/read about a Fass Titanium having this issue of fuel getting in the elec motor or bearings past a failed seal Im not trying to bash Airdog or any thing, Just wondering,,, Has anyone heard of this on a Fass? .

Anybody know what hose your kit came with ? My fass came with IIRC Parker Jiffy Flex #7161 or Parker Jiffy #7212 Which , talking with Eric at Vulcan, is just a cheaper general purpose hose, not the best Has anyone have hose that is older have surface cracking on the blue outer material? I worked on a guys truck with a older fass and his parker blue color hose was all dried up cracked looking on the outer blue material. Though his truck was caked in dried mud and rocks evyrywhere underneath and never cleaned. Could of been coated with dried mud/water slury that made it look all cracked

AirDogs Kits have all quick connect fitting I found out Fass has at least one "employee phone call in installation help tech guy" that they need to fire or demote to trash can emptying tech The owner/manager guy I finally got through and connected to was good

Fass needs to put the proper 1/2" pushlock to 3/8" quick connect fitting in their kit They know its not the correct fitting , but they are pawning the wrong 3/9x 3/8 off on customers in their kits to get rid of their over stock of the incorrect fitting
