You'd think there would be a savings , but 5 gallons for $82.30 isnt saving . That is $16.50 per gal Walmart is $12.00 for LE ,but they dont stock MG. Either does Napa or any parts stores Ive stopped at . MG is supposed to be less expensive than LE Im searching for other places to get MG cheaper

Alexis Oils is where I can get it here local but their price is ridicules , even their price on the LE is too high There supposed to be a distributor

Is anyone running Delo 400 MG 15w-40 instead of Delo 400 LE 15w-40 I can only find the MG at a local Oil distrubutor referenced from the chevron web site for $82.30 for 5 gal ($16.46 per gal). The stuff should be $10 a gal if walmart carried it.

Anybody Rebuild Their Own Engines?
My 99 service manual shows they had both cam and crank sensors 2001 has no crank sensor. I wonder if the 2001 still has the sensor part on the crank, so if you did a 2001 engine swap into a earlier truck you could just add the block mounted sensor ?

Loseing Prime, Longer cranking
I just went out and checked that. Turned key to 'on' , took about 2-3 seconds for the wait to start light to turn on and lift pump started at the same time. Soon as the I hear the lift pump go on I can crank it and it fires right up , with minimal crank Is the lift pump supposed to immediately go on when you turn the key to on? Or is there a 2,3,4...second delay? .

Loseing Prime, Longer cranking
My truck usually fires right up '99 4x4. 160k miles It started cranking longer a while back, but if I turn the ignition on and wait a few seconds for the lift pump to start it will fire right up I thought it was the fuel filter heater grommet Oring(stock fuel filter). slight seegage Well I finally resealed the grommet. But I still get long cranking if I jump right in and try and start, unless Im patient and wait a few seconds for the lift pump to run then it starts right up. Went over the whole truck fuel fittings checking for leak/seepage, top fuel tank etc. Everything looks clean and no sign of leaks Truck is stock, has all gauges, fuel press, boost, trans temp, turbo temp. Farely new vp44, got a good 13 psi lift pump pressure newer stock cummins lift pump, Have a 3/8 fuel lines with all JIC fittings, no banjos Any ideas why it where I might be loseing prime? Another question when first turn ignition to 'on', (not start) how long should it take for the lift pump to start ? Mine takes a couple seconds to run after I turn ign on. thanks Rick

Longer than normal cranking
Maybe the fuel filter heater wire gromett seeping fuel is the cause.

Longer than normal cranking
My truck has always fired up quick. A few times lately, after I start it and drive short distance, then jump in and go to turn the ignition switch briefly like usual, but it doesnt fire, then second attempt it has to crank awhile(longer than usual), not much, then it fires up. Changed the fuel filter(stock filter wasnt bad at all and the canister was clean as a whistle inside) and it did it again today after I drove to the store. Fuel pressure is fine. New VP a couple years ago. Just wondered if this happens to anyone else? It's never done this before. No fuel leaks anywhere. Truck runs great other than that.

98.5 OEM Fuel Filter
I just went to the local hydralic hose shop and bought all JIC 90 degree push-loc swept fittings/ adapters and hose to replace all banjos. Less expensive than vulcans "kit"
