Mopar Mans Full Eclipse meet and greet in Aug 2017

The full eclipse is going to happen very near Mopar Mans place, within an hours drive anyhow. This doesn't happen often so I thought maybe some of you would be interested in what we might call Mopar Mans Eclipse meet and greet.

Mike knows a great place.... I followed him there and camped there.

It's doubly good since it's east of the mountains with not much for clouds, no high mountains that would block the full impact of darkness during mid day.

Schedule this out far enough like this and everyone interested could set it in concrete to go.

What say you?

There is minimal response to this. Don't any of you guys get a kick out of traveling/ driving your trucks all day and meeting up with the rest of us? It's just plain cool fun.

I don't care how tough things are there are some things you cannot afford to miss  :wow:

Mike is teriffic person and well.... Mopar Mom.... she is a whole 'nother story, beyond fantastic.

Joe/ IBMmobile, I'd be very happy to see you there. I know you'd have a great time. I mean this sincerely to everyone too

6 members. That is great. Enough for a good powwow.

I invited a cabinet maker, nice guy, I've known for a long time with a 4th gen. He's got problems almost since it was new and the dealer can't seem to get it right. He's never heard of this forum nor any other but wants to join in the fun.

Over 2 years away. :wow:  I can't plan things 2 days away lol.  Wife hates that about me I roll day to day, I learned many years ago I was not one to make long term plans too many things in life change too fast so I just roll with it. Heck my wife and I even knowing we are going on vacation don't make plans we do the same once we leave as we learned this too. Always find things along the way that interest us and make detours so we just do roaming vacations and usually only plan a day or 2 ahead at most, has not let us down in many years of travelling this way and has led us into many unplanned adventures we would have never done otherwise.

Wild and Free, you could buck that trend and carve it in on your calendar.

I know it's a ways to go for some but back roads out west are just the ticket for enjoyable trips. Or fly I guess.

Me I don't fly after my last experience.

I could be dead by then. Or diving a Prius. but the concept sounds good and I'd like to be there.

I'd rather be dead than peddle my @$$ around in a Prius.  :moon:

My wife is talking about going to Glacier National Park. She wants to drive on 'Going-To-The-Sun' road because all she knows right now is 'Going -To-The -Store road but that's another story. We could kill two birds with one trip.

Just gearing up for 2 road trips this summer, one in a few weeks to Iowa City IA for my sister in-laws wedding, then gone for a week in August to Dallas Texas for a get away and convention, I have an uncle who lives near Dallas we are staying with to save on hotel costs for a few days. Going to be rolling along in our Nissan Murano Cross Cabriolet Convertible for both road trips. :thumb1:

I don't have any pics of it but this is exactly the same color one we have except the interior is Black in ours and Black soft top.
