Uhhhh you sure? I started mine without the trans....Doesn't the flex plate have the teeth on it for the starter?

Well it hasn't done it yet on the street! I did rotate tires so to get the ones with more tread on the back

  Are they going to be able to keep traction while on the dyno? That's going to be a pain if they can't pull it down hard enough.

Supposedly yes. Though I am not hoping for anything great based on some other higher powered trucks that had been on this dyno. Lotsa complaints it is low.
