How does this work with torque management?

No clue, my truck doesn't have TM so I can't tell you how it interacts. 

 

Throwing the canbus at %150 across the board and a ton of wiretap will try and overwhelm TM, but the longer you spend in the 1 -25 mph area the more tm will pull fueling.

So this new tune is like 2 step but fr our trucks then. Sweet. Does this work on a manual transmission?  If so I want to try it

You can't put load on the engine enough to build boost without roasting the clutch.  It will in theory work, but I am guessing your clutch will be smoked before you launch.

Also where in the quad does this code get written? Or is it tune of some sort. Sorry if it is a dumbass question, still learning the V2.

It's a difference base flash.  so the box under the hood gets a different flash, with 1 line of code changed to use the bosot defuel for staging rather than overall limit

So say I had the 2.7 flash, that gets replaced with a different flash or a 2.7 flash with the added line of code?

the 2.7 code would be replaced with 2.7+staging 

 

But again this code is a race only type of thing.  Using the staging function will cause unbelievable stress to the drive train

no, manual trucks cannot apply load to the engine at idle without slipping the clutch.  

 

Without a load to apply the engine cannot build boost

Haha this sounds fun, mabye after I get this tune dialed in lol.  It's almost there.  I think we made some good head way today but the truck was covered in ice including the mirrors so no telling what was behind me.

2 step doesn't load the engine it just limits rpm. I think it has an upper and lower limit. So say you set it at low 2000 and high 2100. It would bounce the Rev limiter between the two specified limits.

oh, yea nope can't do that either.  the ecm gets VERY mad if you mess with fueling vs rpm.  the ecm goes into a runaway mode protection and shuts off.
