From Goerend, I think they state it's 2-400rpm below stock stall.

Wellllllllll. So my oil leak that I thought was the timing case appears to have been a compromised head gasket. It reared its ugly head last night. Pumped oil into the cooling system. Sooooo.....head gasket time and some studs.

I hear you, took me couple of weekends, I'm too anal about everything plus it took most of week for shop to do their thing with the head. 

But what's wierd is when I helped my friend with his race motor, we threw that thing together over a weekend and didn't think twice, ran like a raped ape

The only thing I do not have here is a way to lift the head. Or a hose to clean out the mess of oil/coolant milk shake.
