I dont tow very much so being in or around the goose neck wouldnt be to bad. I really thought about making a roof rack and welding it onto my flatbed rack (maybe detachable) This is a rough idea (below)

i just have my 35" spare in the bed chained to the loops for the gooseneck hitch. i get to keep the tailgaite

I'm still debating this idea, may just make a jig to hold the tire upright inside of box by wheel well or something. When truck is in garage, it will be impossible to get in the back like I can now. I have enough room to drop tailgate and another foot for me, with a swing mount I'll have to open garage door.

After all the pictures. I just sit back and wonder how much longer my factory OEM spare tire (Michelin) is going to last. It only been on the ground 3 times for less than 100 miles. Looks new. But the tire is over 17 years old now. Do I need a spare not really I so rarely use the one I've got.

Mike needs an extra work stall built on to his garage. He could be the guy with all the money in his little town doin the good work he does.
