Ive read lots of threads and still scratching head

The other hard part is some of that stuff is from 2009 and things have changed somewhat in the performance arena since then.

Like I know of a VP44 injection pump that can produce 1,000 HP plus without any help. Being I helped the member figure out how to increase the flow.

You've teased this pump a few times now.. Are you able to divulge any of the secrets? I know a monster pump did that a few years ago.

 

 

Jeeze this was in 2013.. Feels like forever ago and just last year at the same time..

The gent I worked with we dual fed the pump through the body and normal fuel inlet. Changing the internal regulator. Boring all the feed passages open a few thousandth more including return. Then upgraded the front seal and increased fuel pressure to 30 PSI. There is quite a bit done. I think cam ring and shoes are different.

I was wondering if the pump inlet was one of the limitations. Seems so..

 

Wonder if it can keep up with sled pulling rpms..
