Synthetic 2 stroke oil as a fuel additive?

Yes, I have been getting gallon jugs from Amazon.  They dropped it from my autoship orders.  Then I became concerned when I tried all the Crosby auto parts and they didn't have any.

I didn't state my actual concern- that it might be phased out altogether.

Thanks for the web address, I'll order from them.  Probably cheaper.

i was in my local  Walmart store today and the 2 stroke was $13.88/gal.  It's hit or miss when they have it. You can check your local store there in Crosby.   A Walmart with an auto service center in it has a better selection and stocking than one that doesn't.

This is what I use, if you can’t find the super tech, All the Wally worlds usually have this in the sporting goods/marine dept.  just about 17.O0 and some change per gallon here. I have a merc outboard that uses it so it just makes since to share a little with the truck.  As long as it’s TC-W ( two cycle -water cooled )

Thanks for your response.

That is the oil I started with.  I didn't notice it was a synthetic blend.  I had seen posts saying synthetic should be avoided, so I switched.  I'm still not clear about what the downside of using synthetic is.  I tried again to find posts specific to that, but apparently I have no forum search skills.

I had been ordering from the Evil Empire of Amazon, but thanks to forum replies, I learned that Walmart is a go-to place for 2 cycle oil.  Hooda thought it....hard to drive more than 10 miles without seeing a Walmart in the Houston area.

Thanks again for all the replies to this question.
