I've been reading around on the forum (great way to learn), and notice several posts talking about boost in the 30+ psi range. I pull a 10K fifth wheel and I've never seen boost above low 20's. Something wrong? My EGT's are 1100° in only the toughest of pulling - rare. 800° - 900° general driving with fiver in tow. MPG is good too.ThxEric

i can pull 29 to32abs of boost with my banks stinger. it has a boost fooler to allow that. but i dont know anything about the chip you have on yours maybe someone else here does. i shoud also add that my banks came with a waste gate actuator that takes 30+ lbs to open it. the boost fooler just makes the computer think the boost is lower. your ecm would throw an over boost code if it sees boost over the low 20's

Your boost is in the stock range. You can safely run up to about 30 psi on your stock turbo. It takes an adjustable boost elbow and a little tinkering to get it to run the boost up to 30. It will let you run a little cooler, or a little more fuel. You do sound like your getting plenty of air, but it's nice to know you can go higher.

Where's your EGT - pre or post turbo ?? Do you have stock injectors and what about a timing or fuel chip ?

First off you should get a spare factory brass elbo if you are going to try this. If you have a hx turbo you can remove the little brass elbo in the turbo and drill it out a little at a time and get more boost. Be careful around 40 you can put a hurt on the head gasket. 30 should be ok.

Dont mean to hijack but what would it take to run boost elbow on stock eng with no programer? I left my boost elbow on when I took edge ez off and it kept throwing cell light so I removed boost elbow.
