About this blog

Titanium was created to deal with the isolation of my cancer and my depression that came from my cancer. I'm a two-time survivor of bladder cancer. I was told that my chances of survival were low and that the cancer might metastasize and end my story. Knowing I was facing chemotherapy, I was looking for ways to keep my spirit up, as I was sick for so long and alone. I became talented at creating this character and the smiles that came with it.

Where is Titanium Hiding Now???

It was awesome to just take time away from the mess in my own yard. Even though both of us were worn out and really didn't do anything much while out here. The weather got cold and is snowing. We were up near Lost Valley Reservoir at an elevation of roughly 4,800 feet. The change that became permanent

So, as I was packing up on my first trip, I was doing a lot of back and forth, loading stuff in the RV. For 2 days, I didn't wear any makeup at all. Titanium as a Technical Advisor

I'm finding that people don't really care what I look like as long as the knowledge keeps rolling. I've got friends requesting me to sit and watch them work and help where I can. First job was a friend in Caldwell, Idaho that had driver side brake pad start scraping metal-to-metal contact. Luck he was smart, drove home, and parked the truck. Time to head back.

Today we are checking out of our RV space and heading back home with our cache of goodies we picked while in town. This has been a wonderful experience and teaching both of us what we need to travel on the road to see some of you. For a bench test I think we can get started traveling state to stay soon. Frustrated...

People tend to forget what has happened to me. Let me update you on a frustration I had to deal with. First of all, dealing with medical insurance companies is a PITA. I lost my insurance for a short time, which now locked up all my medical treatment, testing, etc til lthis was sorted out. This includes my ostomy bags, too, which I was running out. Trying to keep Thor and Beast running!

Beast has developed a problem with the hydrobooster being the main booster piston; the seal failed, and even brake pedal usage was leaking hydraulic fluid from the hydrobooster. Titanium's story continues in public. I've got followers all over the place. At Starbucks coffee in McCall, the two gals who work there started to ask questions about my appearance with my colored wigs and makeup. When I was done explaining the story of my cancer, they both were impressed with my ideas of heading towards a Goth/Emo/Alt appearance. Meet Stormy Rose.

This was so awesome. I ran into a older couple that shared photos of their son and all the stellar comments. Their son did the whole punk theme, mohawk hair, and in blue green color. Off to see the insurance company

Yes, I'm off to McCall, ID, to meet with my insurance agent and review the actual insurance policy, word for word. Just to give me a boost today, I went a bit more like Clown Goth.
