Anyone out there with a 1 ton Cummins with the Aisin recommend it for truck camper hauling or will the 68rfe trans handle it fine? Think the Aisin is likely overkill for a 3000LBish truck camper in the back but not certain either. I'm looking to purchase a 4th Gen 3500 short bed as I want the rear leafs for my camper. Haven't seen much info on 1 tons with truck campers with the Aisin. thanks...mark

3500 ho aisin regular cab long box I’m loving this new truck 80 miles in the rain and slushy snow. Smooth power had it in 4 high. Exhaust brake is awesome my old 99 is pretty old school. After 23 years it was time for a new one. Should haul my camper much better than the old 2500. I’m a happy camper.

  5. On the lot. In parking lots driving. Anything ? 4100 mile 3 week road trip is over. Fly home tomorrow out of sea tac back to Alaska. Maybe a new truck by next weekend. One low tire and some California state park officer with big old glock hanging on his hip complained that I was in a handicap spot and my blue tag was not hanging on the mirror but laying on the dash. Several near misses of courd Course. $ 5.75 a gallon was the most I paid for gas on the cali coast.

  6. Between the frame rails in the front. Sorry for a cargo rack or put a boat in while the truck camper is on etc

Ok so I ordered a new 2022 ho aisin 5 months age. Salesman at dealer keeps telling me it’s built and being shipped. What I’m reading on line some ordered trucks have been built but are waiting for chips somewhere. Old truck is running fine About 1500 mile since tranny issues limp mode etc. so I wait which is fine. But I do have first right of refusal when truck comes . I would get my $500 back and they would put it on the lot and it would sell . My wife says we should at least wait and see it. I agree. It will be either love at first sight or not. I want her there as well .To keep it or turn it away. Should I wait until next years model 2023 and reorder. Would that…

So I bought my 2019 2500 used back in Sept of 2020. Ever since I bought it, its had a few vibrations. It has a small amount of bumper to bumper warranty left, but I just got it back Wednesday from 45+ days at the dealer trying to fix this. The vibration feels road/tire speed not engine/driveline speed. You feel it in the drivers seat and floor boards. It happens in the high 30s to almost 50 mph. Then eases up until 65 and up, and never really goes away. The kind of wild card is that especially at highway speeds, the vibe isn't constant, it kind of disappears (quick fade out then quick fade back in) for a couple seconds then right back. It doesn't line up with …
