I'm trying to install my airdog 150 and I just discovered that I have an in-tank lift pump so I don't know how to make the wiring connections. Can anybody help me?

Sorry if this is brought up a lot. I did some searching but came up with nothing. I just bought a 1999 2500 24valve cummins, 266,500 miles, Ext cab, long bed, 4x4, Auto. It was all stock except the owner before me put a Airdog 150 pump on it. Since I bought it, I have put 4" straight pipe, BHAF, and have done all fluid and filter changes.(engine oil, engine oil filter, tranny fluid/filter, fuel filter, water separator,) I got through 3/4 tank of diesel and hand calculated my mileage, and it only came out to 13.1 mpg. This is probably 60% highway and 40% in town driving. I have tried my hardest to take is easy on the throttle, but every now and then the pedal dose get away…

my fan hub bearing is making noise and im gonna change it but having trouble finding a bearing. got the part number from cumminsp/n 3910739number off bearing BD35-12DU8Athey want 250 bucks for it. which is ridiculous. cant find it anywhere else though. any ideas? thanks

I have a 99 24 valve and I took it to outlaw diesel in Indy because I wasn’t seeing the boost results I wanted they fixed a boost leak and a fuel line like but said I don’t have enough rpm to spool to the boost I want I have an aura 5000 turbo 150 injectors 4K Hamilton springs arp head studs south bend dual disc quad adrenaline banks intake and I’m sure a few more performance parts I’m forgetting but it’s only hitting 23 psi with the tuner all the way up does anyone know what’s up before I take it somewhere else

Question, what is the normal or usual reasons for a starter to hang? I walked out of the office, fired the truck and it was the strangest damn noise, once i realized what it was, I shut it down, restarted normally, home now, tried to reproduce it and it seems to be fine now. I have the truck on ramps cooling at the moment and going to inspect the starter to make sure its not lose etc. it was the damnedest thing FYI, i just replaced the batteries and the truck has a very brisk start to it now. is the starter getting worn?? Thoughts?

Last week the parts department where I work was told to clean out everything that had been laying around, not in inventory. I walked past the scrap pile out back and there was a turbo. I checked it out and it was used but it pretty fair condition. I asked if it was supposed to be there and he said yeah, so like everything else I brought it home. It is a Borg Warner S300V 110 off of an International DT466. I'm curious as to whether or not I can use anything from this turbo to build a better turbo for my truck. I can't seem to find much information about the specs anywhere. I know it is a VTG but I'm wondering if there is anyway to make it work. Any info would be greatly …

Hi all... I discovered two cracks in my stock manifold. I have searched here and could not find too much... Can someone recommend a replacement for me? I would like to put something in that I do not have to worry about again and perhaps something with a port already installed for my EGT probe. I do not plan to add any performance upgrades... except maybe 75-90hp injectors down the road when these get tired. Thanks in advance..........

I am going to adjust valves on my '02 and so far have the valve cover off, so far so good. Now I see that I need to move the engine to TDC which is noted on the pump gear housing. HELP...is this pump gear (with the indicator line) under the Crankcase Breather??? I have the hose off and can't seem to get the Crankcase Breather off if that's where the gear is located.Great pictures and help on the link here for adjusting valves but the part about the gear with the TDC mark was not shown. I have the Dodge Shop Manual on CD and it shows the breather as coming off....how do I get it off and if I do get it off, how do I get it back on securely? I hate to start prying on st…

I've had an issue with my truck never shifting properly, but I never really addressed it until now because I had always assumed it was the stock trans that was on its way out and was in need of adjustment. However, since I installed a brand new revmax last week and the truck shifts exactly like the stock one did, I've been chasing down issues to source this problem. What the truck is doing: -Only starting in 1st from a complete stop. Even if I slow down to 2mph, the truck will still in take off in 3rd unless I give a lot of throttle to force a downshift -Short shifting 2nd gear... 1st gear will take me to about 10mph under light throttle and then 2nd…

I am wondering if there is anybody here with an exhaust brake on a 2nd gen with automatic tranny? Do they work good together? There are transmission controls available that lock the torque convertor while braking but do they only lock up in overdrive and drive, or in gears below that? I've been trying to cut through the clutter on everything that's available but not having much luck. Hopefully someone here can help me out. Also what's the best brand to be looking at? Thanks!

I have been told by our shops head diesel guy that I can just install a Raptor 100 where the stock pump used to be and leave the retrofitted intank pump alone as it will simply draw thru it. I have to say that I am leery of this setup,I have a stock 99 3500 with 237,000 on it.He runs a 2000 CTD with 500+ HP so he's no dummy but I just want it right.I was hoping the pump was still in the stock location but it as not to be,aluminum junction block.I bought the truck dirt cheap and have only put 1500 or so miles on it,fuel pressure gauge will be installed in the next 2 weeks.So what to do,the truck will be driven rarely and will be lucky to get another 1500 on it by next…

Does anyone know where someone could find the gromment for the fuel tank where the plumbing (suction/ return) lines go into tank? Mine was in bad shape and need to replace soon. Went to Dodge and said they cannot get it because the have supercided it so many times:banghead:. They wanted to know if i had the number that is on the gromment and they could search but it is torn there. Anyone have there tank exposed so they can see the number? Or have a location on where to get one? Any help would be greatful.

Hey guys, ill try to keep this short. I got some 7x.009 dfi injectors last month. After installing these, my truck has a rough idle when engine temps are hot. I had these sent to chris at dfi and the injectors are all pop tested and flow at 300 bar. My install was good all new orings and copper washers no scoring on crossover tubes When i had my stock injectors in i had no rough idle at all, no hard starts, and no fuel leaks. Truck has had raptor 150 since ive owned it 19 psi idle 15-16 wide open. No check engine lights since ive owned the truck. But when i bought truck last september it has 8psi idle with factory pumpWhich is now leading me to believe that because im…
