Hi there, I’m new to your site and thank you for having me. We have a 5.9 QSB, 24 valve with VP44 in our skidder. Around 9800 hrs. Machine starts really good cold and hot. But, in the mornings, especially now they are getting colder, machine still starts good but when we start to drive it misses and farts (like running out of fuel) For 15 mins or so. There is fuel on top of inlet manifold coming out where injector lines screw into the head. So, we figured we would replace the injector lines. Still same things happening and leaking fuel. Out the same place. Could it be the tubes causing this problem? If so can we take out the tubes to inspect and clean with out taking out …

We wanted to do something nice for @Wet Vette younger daughter. So we told them to have a birthday party at our place and have everyone camping out here. I was playing with my phone last night and start to play with slow mo video and this was awesome video clips. No real audio you can mute it.

Anyone else see this ? What lag? @dieselautopower thoughts ? From what I have seen Garrett has battery that is charged then discharged rapidly when the turbo needs help spooling up. The coolest part is gathering energy from the turbo when not on boost. It will use the turbine as a generator to pump power back into the charging system. https://www.garrettmotion.com/electric-hybrid/garrett-e-turbo/

I'm looking for a shop or some that could look into getting my Asus laptop repaired. I don't want shop that are going to try plugging in new power pack and tell me the motherboard is fried. Then give up. This laptop failed back in November and does not charge with either charger pack I've got. It will not turn on at all. I'm now hunting for a shop that can fix this and not pass me down the line. It's Asus laptop and does not boor or turn on.

so i tried searching for this specifically and no luck. Seeing that the last engine oil change was 10k miles ago and 6 years, i dont drive truck that much. Is there a oil additive to put in after a couple years to refresh the additives in the oil that will degrade via time or is this even something to be concerned about? seeing it took 6 years to get 10k on the truck no point in changing oil till 10k (which ive done since i owned it along with filter) seems better to save some money and put in an additive to refresh the oil. rotella t 15-40 is what i use thoughts?

I was the first to find this flaw in this tractor. Its a 1984 Case C580 backhoe. Number 2 injector was misfiring kind of. We pull the pencil injectors out to find number only had 3 holes and missing its 4th holein #2 injector. (Personal Trophy) Owner said its been in his father construction company and now he's using it for his construction. I'm the only one that found this rare one with three holes and not spraying right at all. Even did a quick valve lash at .012 Intake and 0.014 Exhaust. The actual size of the injector is just about the same as a standard #2 penicil. Holes are very tiny. Barely see the one hole here.

Well I learned something yesterday... Never go shopping in the economy car. We went to WalMart, Costco, etc. in Lewiston, Id and Clarkston, WA. Needless to say it was so much stuff we packed in that little car it struggled to pull the load and drop the MPG down into the 30's. Surprising that you start with a little bit and keep going to pick up everything that you have on the list of good deal while you can. Then start loading the car and finding out the car is filling up rapidly. Now you loading the back seat because the trunk is full. Make sure you use the proper vehicle for the task at hand... @Wet Vette little car (2018 Hyundai Elantra) was r…

This is something no one expected. Not sure where to begin or end. I'll just post few pics and links you guys decide. As far as I know no one got hurt but I haven't watched news ether. Been super busy at work keeping generators and pump stations going then helping with carnage where I can. Not near as bad as fires or tornadoes but still sucks. This was wide spread through many towns.

So far I've got @JAG1 and @IBMobile here at my place. The very first night they got here @IBMobile dove in and fixed my passenger side window. I was having trouble with the window motor jamming up at the bottom. After a bit Dan got it fixed up and all put back together. Thanks IBMobile for the fix! After that looked at his truck and passenger side front bearing is fried out. The next day I had to got to Lewiston for supplies anyways so I ran and got Dan's front wheel bearing and got it here. Today I've got a few side projects to handle like Tracie Reed and here 2010 6.7L Cummins and few other thing but I've got to get foc…

Its time to put new tires on the 4th gen. the current tires are good for highway summer driving and have ~%25 wear left however winter is going to be coming and the wife will need better traction. I bought a 2nd set of rims stock 4th gen 275/70/18 tire size. I have been looking at a couple tires, but I need some input. Things that are important to me are wear life, cold weather traction, snow traction. we dont tow much right now, but it will be happening again soonish. I expect to see %95 paved road driving, but I do have a ~1 mile long gravel driveway. so far I have looked at Goodyear duratrac 275/70/18 load E - lo…

Well I left a week ago Thursday for a 2 day trip to Bowling Green Kentucky. Now 9 days I am headed home. I got about midway thru the mountains and we came to a stop. That was at 7:10 ET. Now its 8:55 and I made about 200 yds progress. What a night. And to add a bit insult to the injury they closed the interstate. So now about a 20 mile detour thru back country. The drive might be a nice but its dark and I bet crowded. Of course if we dont start moving soon itmwill be a moot point.

Wish I would have took some pics! We had a guy come take of our 20 acres of wheat and run it into hopper wagons for us. Long story short, my uncle hooked his Duramax to the wagons to pull them out of the field. Not enough traction so the nice guy that I am hooked to his truck with a couple big tow straps I have and pulled him and both wagons out to the road. Total weight of the pull was roughly 35-40k. Not bad for an inline six! He was a bit in shock but it was all about traction, I had it and he didn't.

When I take the number of deaths in my state of 237 people and divide that by the ( 42 one hundred thousand people) in Oregon it comes to 5.6 people per capita deaths from the C virus. This boils down to less than .0056 % of deaths for oregon. Now the worse case flu seasons only caused around 2.3% deaths. Just thought is all this is to get us thinking. You will have to do your own calcs to see what percent your own state is. Now some recent observations by a few doctors and others that say this is overblown fake news....... One doctor expressed how his hospital instructed him to right down the cause of death as Coronavirus in all cases that were qu…
