Tried to find an old posting where I used the words "jam nut". Typing "jam" or "jam nut" into search box and then hitting enter shows no results. Any hints what I'm doing wrong?

Brother in law used to live in cold country, northern Idaho, almost to Canadaian border (now passed away). He had a pellet stove that feed pellets into an augar type tube that was connected to a wound up spring device. As the spring unwound, the pellets dropped into fire box. No electricity needed, or in my case looking for something when our elect goes out. Any manufactures you would. recommended?

I know some of you are wondering what is happening in my life. Most of you remember that last Christmas I was diagnosed with Bladder cancer. As of today I'm still clean, cancer free. I'm stuck with paying that hospital bill. What is going on is I'm still taking care of @MoparMom and trucking south to Ontario, OR. Laying down at least 1,200 miles a week. I've went out and started a second shop just down the road from home about 5 miles. I gotta admit someone is looking out for me. The jobs have been fairly plentiful and keeping my bills paid without getting super crazy. Then my other addition to the family is @Wet Vette. She has been a huge factor in things going on here a…

It has been said that an acre of forest supports 18 people with enough oxygen to live. So if trees are such a great filter, i.e. taking in carbon monoxide and other micro pollutants and producing oxygen for everyone, do you think we could call them the earths Big Honkin Air filter? I put that in there so you guys might wake up . Anyhow thinking of this 'green solution for pollution as in the use of electric vehicles, you know there is no such thing as a free lunch as in the ramifications of battery waste, chemicals, nuclear waste from electricity..... Wouldn't make more sense to plant and take care of our forest lands and trees? Make more sense to use a fuel that can be f…

Put marble mosaic up around the tub today. Left a 1/8” gap between the bottom row and the top of the tub. What goes in that gap? Grout or silicone caulk? https://www.lowes.com/pd/allen-roth-Marble-Beige-11-in-x-11-in-Herringbone-Marble-Wall-Tile-Common-11-in-x-11-in-Actual-11-14-in-x-11-14-in/1000003032

Hi! I'm from the UK, new to this very interesting forum! I have a bmw 330d (common rail, piezo injection 3.0td) that uses Bosch edc16 engine management. It drives the original Garrett gtb2260v vnt turbo using a Hella actuator and pwm data signal. I have a holset he431ve (29cm) that uses a (I think) 24v can-bus actuator, the big heavy duty version of the actuator as you'll know - it's water cooled and very hefty. With gearing on the 3phase motor. My original plan was to run the holset with the Hella actuator, but I don't think it'll last or work well as the Garretts use pivot vanes that are very light and easy to move compared to the ho…

Just want to let everyone know he needs your prayers as he has more on his plate than any normal guy should have right now. Most of you know about some of the things he is going thru. Plus his time is run so thin that most things he owns is falling behind where he can't repair it in a timely fashion and the needed repairs to both his vehicles are lagging. Your prayers and donations would be greatly appreciated. Please forgive any phone calls he doesn't answer and for his lack of participation in the forum right now. He cannot take on any work on any other trucks till things get better. Thanks to all you members out there. Even to the expired ones.....…

Hey, Anyone care to give my wife a bit of a confidence boost? She has been painting as a hobby and I suggested she put stuff on etsy to try and afford more paint and clear space. She sold a few things last year,so she posted up some more things and hasn't sold anything in awhile and she is losing confidence in her ablities. https://www.etsy.com/shop/RidingTheSkyStore?ref=search_shop_redirect Anyways if someone wants to buy something I will send you $$ to cover the cost. No need to sell 100 items just 1 or 2.

Bone chill cold is coming soon from Idaho all the way to the East coast. Supposed to be very unusual cold with temps 15 to 30 degrees below normal. Check your block heaters working and the cord is good size and in good shape. Lots a times those electrical wall plugs wear out and make for a bad connection. Remember using the Grid heaters all the time can compromise the alternator diodes. Get your RV or your boat fully winterized if you haven't yet.

A year ago I bought a new HP Envy laptop. On sale for 800 bucks. What a Piece of ****.The hinge is bound up and popping out the screen when opening. It creeks and cracks in sound like ready to break something. Went on the net and found this a common problem and HP is a turd about customer service.... an absolute human waist of a time to get them to do right by you. You guys, can you help me choose something cheap like a chrome book or something? I just use it for forums and searches nothing heavy. I'm pissed cause Best Buy sales knew about this common problem yet let me be convinced I'm buying the best. It was a lie. I'm not spending much as I have been expe…
