Im not political but my grandpa is and I just got this email from him. WHEN COFFEE HURTS I was eating breakfast with my six year-old granddaughter last week and I asked her "When is President's Day?" She is a really smart kid, and instantly replied "In February!" So, I asked "What does President's Day mean?" I was waiting for something about Washington or Lincoln ... etc. She said, "That's when Obama steps out of the White House, and if he sees his shadow we have one more year of unemployment." DARN IT - HURTS WHEN HOT COFFEE SPURTS OUT YOUR NOSE! IN GOD WE TRUST

Well gang...I've gone and done it. I've gone and sold my 1973 Dodge Charger to a local family that is planning on restoring the car back to its glory days. This car has a lot of history being my Dad bought the car back in 1973 brand new and then hand down to me for my 16th birthday. The car is now 39 years old and got roughly 339,000 miles on it. The engine and trans have low miles on them.

Well after having a long weekend of company here at the house MoparMom and myself packed up the RV and hauled out. Knowing we had to stop in Emmett, ID for a short time to get supplies from Boise, ID so spent the night in Emmett, ID little RV park. http://goo.gl/maps/VoMe (Point B) So we got all the food and misc. stuff we wanted for our trip over to Mann Creek Reservoir. So we packed up and headed over to Mann Creek. On my way I was seen by a member of www.idahoturbodiesels.com... http://goo.gl/maps/VoMe (Point C) Now once we got to Mann Creek camp-ground we got set up and basically did absolutely nothing. Just laid around and did nothing really. Take the dog out for…

Alright, so a career guy at the fire dept. noticed I did work on my truck when I came in to use the air hose for rebuilding my calipers. He expressed his interest in the fact that I was working on a Dodge truck, as he owns one, too. He asked me if I had ever done the front axle seals for them and told him I have.He was not too hot on doing it himself(too busy), nor appealed at getting it done at a shop. I told him I would be willing to do it for him if he wanted to pay me. Hes willing to let me do the work, but I really dunno how much I should charge him for the job. I can do the work, I just usually 'am not doing it on a vehicle unless its mine. So the whole idea on how …

I can go into my control panel and go under mouse pointer settings, and i can even see the smaller pointers to pick from, but it will ot let me select any other size than what they downloaded to me on the lastest update! Anyone have it happen and how did you get back to a small cursor? Dam updates, soon going to turn them off

It is one of the FEW holidays I consider to be an important part of my life. Although, I do not get to thank many people, I do so when I can. I take my moment and meditate on the fact of how so much was sacrificed, for me. So, to take a moment here and compose this thread, for my fellow men, who give and gave so much, heres to you! Thank you men/women for serving this great country and defending what is so fragile now. Giving me the ability to live life another day in less fear than what the world lives in. I will always continue and be sure to carry on the most important thing that you fought for: Our Constitution and Bill of Rights! John 15:13 …

  9. For 2nd Gen trucks: There must be a conservation of Cummins, as new ones can not be created, and neither should they be destroyed (or removed from your posession in my case) without replacing the Cummins with another. I don't know what I was thinking when I thought about getting a Tundra. I am not sure what I was drinking that night... I mean, toyota 4runners are great for women and kids, my wife loves hers, but a man needs a truck. I looked at the 3rd gens, as my dad has a couple of them, and I just couldn't love the interior, or the cost of common rail parts. I also have driven 2nd gen Dodges since 1999, and between the parts I have laying about and th…

  10. Well days ago things were not going well at the job. Problem on top of problem. So I am trying to work through all of this and keep everyone moving and before I make one call folks start dumping more in my lap. So I get frustrated and toss, maybe throw, my cell phone in the truck and guess what catches it. Needless to say my monitor is not an outfielder, but a solution was found for now.

  12. I was sitting on the throne, minding my own business... a blur of motion caught my eye & I heard an audible thud. I looked to my left & in the bottom of the bathtub was a 3" spider... apparently had rappelled down from the shower head. I wonder if he was in there when Sheila took her shower before leaving the house? After I recovered my composure, Mr Spider was still there. It was him or me, so it was him & a flush. I wished my camera wasn't packed already... Russell

So, I'd love to upgrade my radio to a NAV version, but I'm not trying to spend $1000 to do it.In the past 3 yrs, I've went through 2 Garmins (a Nuvi an a 1350T). so I tried using my Sprint phone with Navigation. It worked fine for a short period of time. Now the GPS antenna in the EVO 4G is flaking out and will cycle itself, dropping GPS signal when you need it most. So that's worthless, not to mention, a 3" screen is hard to see, especially factor in the vibrating around in the rough-riding truck..What do you guys use/do for GPS in the 2gen trucks?

  15. I am getting ready to go to a re-enactment... I haven't had a chance to connect with my blacksmith to make a new mount for a swivel cannon (1 of 3 I own, just like it sounds, a small cannon mounted on a swivel yoke). The mount that came with it was just not working out. I can't even exhibit it unless I grind the spike on the mount round, to stick in the stump. So I clamp it in the vise & attack it with the grinder... actually, I'm doing cut & try... grinding it more round and then trying a round collar on it. Yeah, sparks are flying some but I've seen far more & I was just doing a light pass at a time. No, I didn't clean the bench off. Just the area wh…

  16. Nope, I don't have a manual, and I don't know wtf I'm doing. All I can say is that it works when it wants, and that's not good enough. Its a Central Hydraulics motorcycle Jack. It doesn't leak, and it appears to be full of fluid. However, I don't know what all these are for: Left side, no idea. Allen plug pukes oil when I open it. Right flat tip screw thingy when you take it out has a flat tip screw adjuster inside. Any help? Sometimes the Jack works full stroke pump. Sometimes, partial stroke. Sometimes it doesn't hardly move. Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk 2

  18. If you have ever used an electric fence or know someone who has one you should read this. The language used is a bit salty, but 'he tells it like it is' without cursing. If you don't laugh hysterically at this, CHECK YOUR PULSE... this is funny... and true. This was sent by a retired dentist. We have the standard 6 ft. fence in the backyard, and a few months ago, I heard about burglaries increasing dramatically in the entire city. To make sure this never happened to me, I got an electric fence and ran a single wire along the top of the fence.Actually, I got the biggest cattle charger Tractor Supply had, made for 26 miles of fence. I then used an 8 ft. long ground rod, and dr…

I am not sure when they did this but I just looked and it is now advertised as 350hp and 800tq. Before it was 350/650. So they just bumped it in the last month. Ford has been at 400/800 for some time now. Guess they finally kicked the cummins up a notch. I just wonder why the 6spd is still rated at 610TQ. The only thing I can think of is hot rodders will slam through the gears with their trailers and tear things up with all the power, so having an auto kinda eliminates that as long as the auto is built for the power http://www.ramtrucks.com/en/2012/ram_2500_3500/capability/powertrain/#
