The temperature here is 75 and falling.  We are experiencing rain, hail, and flash flood warnings. Michael is on a Search&Rescue assignment in the White Water Wilderness area at about 6000 feet.  Very rugged terain and the weather is working against them.  Do not know how many the search is for but they have been missing for over 24 hours.  Up there it can get cold.  Say a prayer for all.  Moparmom

I'm home. Safe and Sound. I wish the out come could of been better. We found the person. He was out for a UTV ride and rolled the vehicle. This person was pinned to the ground with his leg under the roll bar. Needless to say this person didn't make it.

If your going out to cruise around with a ATV or UTV I highly suggest you don't go alone. I also highly suggest you tell people where your going and stick to your plan. If your going to go solo I highly suggest you get one of these.

Been a rough week for the rescue half of S & R in the state.

If his femur was broke or he had is femoral artery damaged he likely bled to death if his leg was pinned.

that's rough.  Thanks for your work man.  I am sure the family is thankful to know what happened.

God Bless all of the S&R men and women. It's sad to hear about anyone passing on like this when it could have had a different outcome. God comfort and strengthen his family and friends. Thank you MoparMom for informing us on Micheal's S&R, it's an important part of any community. God Bless our Veterans and Military Men and Women throughout this world, keep them out of harms way.
