I've got to ask other members here, "what your are seeing for winter weather?"

Here in Central Idaho we've seen snow storm blow over but not drop much snow in the valley floor. The mountains around me are dusted in snow. Nothing deep once again. The temperature has dropped to 24*F above. Everything is frosted this morning and cold. Now I've talked to a friend down in the Parma area and he's had already a good 2 to 3 inches of snow but next day melted off.

  • I am currently halfway through my firewood. The extreme heat we had sure did season it well in one summer. We reached 116 degrees for the hottest day breaking all time statewide records.   N

12-16-21 we hit almost 60°f in New England, specifically southern CT. A couple weeks ago we had 8 tornadoes come across northern ct and eastern mass with a cold front (nothing more than EF1) . We have

@Doubletrouble and I, I think are in the same storm system. Only difference is its been between 40 and 50 that last 2 days where I am with rain. Today though we are getting the cold air behind the storm. It was 50 this morning and they are saying its supposed to drop to the teens tonight. there were already places that across one town is a 10+ degree difference in temps. and some of them are larger. and most that drop happened over the span of 10 mins..

I'd love to see 50° again! So tired of the cold already. Lol

-40* yesterday morning, -20*f this morning, ugh.

ready for spring.   blew an exhaust gasket out of the snowmobile yesterday, but my give a damn as not risen enough to fix it yet,  might tackle this afternoon if it stays above 0

New England is starting to get into the yo-yo temps time of the year. Last Wednesday to Saturday the temps were in the mid to upper 50s, Sunday it snowed all day, high of 32.. Monday I don't think got out of the low 20s. This morning it was 5.. Later this week we are forecasted to be in the 50s again..

Ugh. I'm tried of just the cold period. Yeah it might be only +20F but that near 100% humidity is nasty just seem to soak right through you at times.

Same thing here these last few years. Instead of being cold and dry, it's cold and humid. It sucks. Then throw in a wind and I just can't handle it.

I used to get zapped with static electricity all the time in the house, last few years, not at all.....oh look, I just found a positive in all my negative.

SWIDT?

Starting to see the big day to day fluctuations in temps. Bad part is you get mid 40s one day, then mid 20s the next....

Woke up to 8°. Climbing to mid twenties. Mid forties by Sunday. Then dropping again. Tis roller coaster season.

I know... It sucks for me because I did the road trip down to Parma, ID for 3 days to work and wasted all my good weather day being inside a heated shop down there. Now I've gotta gear up for today going down to Lucile, ID and working outside again.

Been raining pretty good here all day. Temps hovering near the freezing mark. Supposed to drop this afternoon and make things interesting.

Got 6” of snow last Thursday, was about 70 degrees yesterday afternoon, and will be about 9⁰ tomorrow morning in Kansas City. Boo!

Rainy and 50 right now, supposed to be 60 to almost 70 and sunny tomorrow.. then thursday into friday is possibly 6 inches of snow with sleet and freezing rain and then more snow sunday monday..

getting whiplash from the temp and weather changes..

I hear ya. But, I'm glad to not have meat locker conditions consistently, nor are the mosquitoes going to hatch anytime soon! Every June I pray for a quick jaunt down to 10 degrees to knock them down. Of course, that would decimate the breadbasket of the US, so I hope the good Lord knows I'm joking...

Being more allergic to mosquitoes makes them the bane of summer for me. No scratching and the bites have blown up to be nickel to quarter sized..

Stable temps would be nice.. roller coaster sucks..

-9 here right now, low tonight of -11, at least, and I probably shouldn’t say this, the wind isn’t blowing!!!(yet) High tomorrow of 5 above and chance of snow. Could be worse I guess…..could live next door to @Me78569😁😁

Wind has picked up here some. We're supposed to get another round of winter Thursday night into Friday. Possibly 6" of snow.

Have to head up to Chicago area early in the morning. Hope to deliver, reload and be back this way before the storm hits this time. Last week I held up in Lafayette In. Until it was over the following morning. Ugh
