Get the electronic flasher (ep27 for 98+). I use ebay cheapys. The ones I have currently. Yeah if something is on its last leg it's worth a shot. My cure all for all of my small gas engines around the place was when I switched to 91 non ethanol premium gas several years ago. Have not needed to mess around with one to get it to start or run good since the switch, they all start easier and run better all around.

I got the led's(yellow front turn & clears for rear) and flasher from amazon. The lights are pretty bright but wanted them that way. They draw 4.4 watts. Cant hurt on worn stuff. It cant all be snake oil. I used a Berryman fuel additive on my John Deere lawn tractor that helped it. Not a cure all but it worked.

I dont know if it is your power thief or not but it could be your VP thief if left as is.

Ep27 is the flasher you need for the 98+ trucks.

My housings have adjustment screws for left right and up down. I have an idea to make the install super easy but I need to test the theory. Unless as set of housing and ds2 show up out of the blue I will never get to test the theory. Overall I think the mini h1's are best most of the time due to the ease of install.

We know the feeling

Received news that the shop tested 3 different heads... the first two had cracks similar to mine. The third head was free of cracks! Yahoo now I just need to wait for them to do a valve job and a re-surfacing and I’ll be back to the assembly. Hopefully the shop doesn’t take too long! Getting anxious about getting the truck back on the road
