I think all opinions are helpful after that is probably why most of this joined and post on this site, to get a different perspective on things we do or want to do with our trucks. The one thing I noticed on my truck that the fender flares may or may not fix is when its wet I get tire spray all around my wheel well. At certain speeds it actually gets shot straight up. Yea they are the same as yours diesel4life and screw on to the inner wheel well also but I looked the install instructions and they say that the rubber strip along the edge adheres to the side of the fender. But maybe this is an unnecessary step. Sent from my RM-820_nam_att_100 using Tapatalk

Bushwaker fender flares
Hi guys a guy sold me a used set of fender flares. I am looking at putting them on my truck, originally the kit comes with a rubber trim piece that has adhesive that sticks to the truck and then goes over the edge of the plastic fender flare to protect the truck. Since these are used the adhesive is long gone but I have the rubber stops still. So my question is are they any suggestion on a kind of double sided tape or anything to attach the strips to the truck.Sent from my RM-820_nam_att_100 using Tapatalk

Ahhhhhhh yea sorry I misread. Yes that gauge would mean its a twisted group of 5-0 gauge and 3-0 gauge wires respectively. So that makes sense then. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I would assume that the wire to the starter should be larger than the negative and crossover cables. So to me I don't know if I would trust those numbers. That's just my intuition though. I will see if I can find the actual gauge sizes.Sent from my RM-820_nam_att_100 using Tapatalk

So the tires have made it much better but it happened once the other day so I will follow up once I test the steering components update: I have found some info on genos garage for anyone else dealing with this problem. TIRES - Sizes, brands, etc. - What do you run?
I just put on a set of primewell h/t 265/75R16 from tires plus after taking everyones advice and got rid of the old 16.50in rims. i am very happy so far. we will see when winter sets in how they preform but so far they are great. they were on the cheap 580 out the door, with lifetime rotation and a prorated warranty.

Hi Guys,This started about a week ago i was driving downt he road when i hit a significant bump. Immediately my truck started to shake, up and down, like it was bouncing down the road. I can to a stop and check out everything, i didnt see anything out of the ordinary so i went on my way. When i started rolling again the shake was gone. The episodes have been becoming more frequent it happened 2 today in a 10 mile drive. Has anyone one see this or ran into this? i took it to the shop today and they told me everything seemed tight. But i know something is seriously wrong.- Another wind shield wiper issue - HELP !
I would look at the timing unit itself. Might have to do some digging to find out what controls it but usually for electronic timing its controlled by a circuit consisting of resistors and capacitors. There is no problem running a jumper for the egt probe wires, you could also run your own wire the whole way if you would like. The resistance of typical wire is so similar if not exact that it will not mess with the thermocouple reading. The thermocouple works by having two very different materials that have different properties at different temperatures and the gauge reading comes from the voltage drop across these two different materials. A lead wire from the gauge to thermocouple is not going to affect this reading significantly. But I would remind you never to mix stranded and solid wires in a wire nut and would recommend only using standard wire for vehicle applications. I would also use higher quality wire aka not speaker wire, its not made to carry significant load or hold up under car conditions.Sent from my RM-820_nam_att_100 using Tapatalk- 1st Gear or 2nd?
