  1. Thanks for the info both of you. So I should be looking for air getting in the system between the lift pump and the inj pump or between the tank pickup and the lift pump .
  2. If it is not in the fuel line between the tank and the injector pump or back to the return side to the tank and no leaks I can see ,could I be losing it inside the inj pump.
  3. All of the return lines seals have been replaced already. I got the vp44 from Vulcan performance I think he said it came from Illinois .
  4. Ok guys could use some input. My truck is y2k 24v auto with a fass 95 lift pump and an reman vp44. If I parked it up hill it has to be reprimed in the morning . (Starter bump type) I put in a check valve on the discharge side of the lift pump by the tank which solved the priming/drain back issue, but I don't know why the fuel was draining back. I have no leaks and no smell and run 14-16 psi on the fp gauge. When the truck is at lower rpms under load light or heavy I can feel a little bit of surging like a miss. All of the return lines seals have been replaced already . If there's is a leak how can I find it and could it be in the injector pump check valve. Thanks for the help
  5. Diesel I had the amsoil double set up for a lot of miles when I was driving a lot but I removed and wish I had not. If you aren't driving it as much keep the amsoil in it and change the filters out more often
  6. Not sure but if you shop Amazon it will group it with your 99 if it fits Then you'll know

  9. That is a good question. I had leak issues that seemed to center around the fuel pressure gauge line or the oem filter seal cap never could find it
  10. I recently had a drain back from the vp that was making it so I had to reprime each morning . I installed a check valve between the lift pump and the tank and it took care of the problem.
  11. When I had that light it was a abs sensor on the rear axle. Y2k
  12. So your talking about the harness for the trailer plug at the rear bumper right . I think my y2k plugs in back there at the light and wires run to the front for the controller.
  13. Did you try powering the motor without it installed ? Might be a mech issue
  14. I had the brake light on mine do that and it was the speed sensor On the rear diff. It has one bolt that holds it and has an oring around The sensor and slides down in from the top left side of the pumpkin Not a hard job at all. I had rust on mine to clean off. Do you have any codes ?
  15. Trying to find a diagrahm from the power panel to the a/c comp etc can anyone help. i could not get the ones on this page to download to my mac. thanks

  17. The pump came with an inline screen type filter only. The return manifold was serviced awhile back and all the seals replaced. I have been considering a check valve in line between tank and filter.
  18. Ok here it is y2k Cty auto with fass 95 at the tank stock filter setup. If I park it up hill I have to reprime it in the morning. If I clamp the fuel line On the inlet side of the fuel filter it start right up. I have a gauge line plumbed in where the supply line goes into The injection pump and I have checked this area back to the filter and sending unit new oem filter cap rechecked For seal no fuel leaks found anyplace back to the tank. Which side of the fuel filter should I be looking? Thanks for the help
