  1. #1- Sell the Banks tuner and get a Smarty touch with pyro. #2 - Get a good 2 micron fuel filter like this setup to save the injectors even if its too late for the stock set. http://www.vulcanperformance.com/VP-MAX-Under-Intake-Filter-System-CR-p/uifk500.htm #3 - 2 stroke from here on out. #4 don't fix what isn't broke from here and you will be golden. If you need a clutch replace it when the old one is worn out not just because.
  2. Temp gauge for a manual is just as if not more important than on an auto trans. A lot of manual transmissions fail due to overheat conditions same as autos.
  3. Getting a B&W turn over gooseneck hitch installed in the 2010 1500 hemi next week now too, so the 05 isn't the lone ranger in pulling it around.
  4. Much like the lottery everyone can dream.........................
  5. Buying a gooseneck eliminates 90%+- of those friends lol..................
  6. Closed the deal, got the hoist rAISED UP TO SEE IF THINGS LOOKED OK AND THE HOIST AND MOTOR AND PUMP FUNCTIONED, all was good and got it home, pulls nice and smooth, the old 05 didn't even know it was back there.
  7. My mother tried that about 20 years ago for her MS. Did it for about a year and did not see any benefit from it.
  8. History made today, Bison win #5 straight national championships 37-10. Have most of this years starters coming back again as well as a heck of a backup q-back who got them most of the way to the championship this year.
  9. Here is another view. http://www.idahostatejournal.com/members/mountain-lion-with-bizarre-deformity-found-in-southeast-idaho/article_bf8320d4-3c5b-5546-ad7d-91c1c702eb47.html
  10. 24-0 @ half time, Bison are dominating #1 rated Jacksonville State. This with their starting Q-back Carson Wentz who has not played a game since Oct 17 when he was injured. He is supposed to be a top pick in the NFL draft this next go round as well. Looks to be another one for the record books, no other team in NCAA college ball history has ever won 5 consecutive back to back national championships.
  11. I was thinking his girl may have had something to do with it but then I realized the teeth would have been firmly planted in his back side rather than its head.
  12. WTH you feeding them critters out west? http://newschannel9.com/news/offbeat/mountain-lion-with-rare-deformity-found-in-southeast-Idaho
  13. NY Times Sunday edition will announce the worlds top 52 places to see in 2016 and Theodore Roosevelt National Park in the North Dakota badlands was chosen as #5. http://www.kfyrtv.com/home/headlines/ND-National-Park-Named-No-5-Place-to-Visit-Worldwide-364717361.html
  14. ESPN 2 if any want to watch college football history possibly being made today. No college football team in history has won 5 straight national championships. Game starts at 11am central time live from Toyota stadium in Frisco Texas. GO BISON!!! The Drive for 5!!!!
  15. Well going to close the deal tomorrow and bring home a new to me dump trailer. Been looking for one for several years but trailers hold their value big time around here and never move in price. I have not seen one of these in used condition for less than 6500 for several years so when I saw this one pop up I jumped. Needs a few things, brakes do not work but he thinks due to adjustment and I will do the new to me trailer tune up and repack and set the bearings and inspect the suspension while in there. It is 14' long and plenty big enough to haul my Kubota loader tractor around in now too instead of having to load that little guy on a 30' trailer looked pretty goofy. Has 7K axles under it. Going to try and sell my 2 pickup box trailers and my Gooseneck flatbed trailer and down size that one to a low profile in a 24-26 foot, not much need for the big one anymore.
  16. That's what most typically go through before learning about the lift pumps and all else that goes to supporting them so at that point even if they had the same lack of knowledge about not adding another fuel filter to protect the injectors one is close to the same cost but the support costs are a fraction on a 3rd gen versus a 24v. But one can replace just a single CR injector if need be. Nothing but a fuel filter needs to be added to a 3rd gen like I posted above. Add the extra pumps and support like gauges ect you are nearly at the cost of another VP yet on top of it. I have seen about as many burned up pistons from aftermarket injectors on VP rigs as I have on stock injectors on cr's. CP3 pumps are so very rare in failing its hard to throw that one in the mix of failures in my opinion.
  17. Wow someone needs to find a new parts house. Prevention is the key, a 100 dollar additional fuel filer is a lot cheaper than 500++ dollar aftermarket lift pumps and gauges and all the related stuff to keep a VP running to the same life span of properly protected 3rd gen injectors. Plus one can replace a single injector if needed for just a couple hundred bucks. I love all the 3rd gen bashers who have no idea the realistic overall ownership costs when they get worried about all the false hype.
  18. OMG I wish mine would come OUT of the car wash most days looking like your pre-wash pics lol........
  19. Rebuilding the gears is not a simple project, I work with the guy who owns and runs Bluetop and there are a lot of internal adjustments to consider that common rebuild kits do not have like the bearing balls which is how the play is adjusted, he has to source them from custom makers specifically for this alone, the balls have to be made in single mm size differences and the same gear could take 2-3 different diameter bearing balls. He is phasing out his automotive gear work but will take on jobs if one contacts him, he is narrowing down his work load to heavy duty steer gears like Semis. He sold off most of his automotive parts stock already but if one contacts him he will tell you if he will or won't do it depending on what you have. He says rebuilders like cardone do nobody any favors when they rebuild things they cobble stuff big time making his life tougher when he has to fix their cobble jobs. He has to do a lot of machining work on a lot of them in spots as well sometimes the seal area and sometimes the bearing area, none are a cut and dry rebuild if one wants it done right.

  21. That map was for this last particular event which has now passed.
  22. Don't forget the booster shots LOL!!! Numerous times!
  23. If one could afford the payment in the first place then the day it is paid off that money goes into a savings account until there is enough to pay cash for the next one and so on, That is how I fund my purchases. If you had been living without that money for whatever term the loan was worth and survived then you can continue to. My Grandfather built up a 7K acre farm on 1 steadfast principle he drill into me. "If you can't afford it then you don't need it". Never spent more than 28K on a vehicle in my life. There is no vehicle on the planet work more than 30K in my mind. Like I posted earlier it all comes down to how much time and money one wants to stick into it long term, when the never ending maintenance of a rig equals a payment of a new one then it is a no brainer. And when one can finance new ones for near zero % to 6 years or more then it becomes a lot easier to make that decision if one is not disciplined enough to save up. I am my own banker now as well. I have a universal life plan that allows me to borrow against my own cash value in my policy using the life ins amount as collateral, win win for me going into retirement, I paid myself back and am earning interest from myself along with dividends, and am not tied to any commercial banking system for savings and loans if I were to want one.
  24. Merry 10th day of Christmas all!! Seems most Christians have forgot about it already, guess most are commercial Christians now days.
