  1. I am not great with ac but i would assume its low on charge. The pop might be the compressor disengaging when pressure builds up
  2. I think my problem is my batteries are shot and im waiting to change them when I do the tappet covee
  3. It just helps coat the clutches and band material. I have been doing it for years after learning it from an old head at the dealership
  4. I would monitor t-case and trans fluid levels. Like said above, there is an output seal on the trans and an input seal on the t-case
  5. Yes more fuel pressure means more return. Just wanna stay in that 14-20 range. I like 18-19 because of when my intake heater kicks on, it only drags the pressure down to 14-15
  6. First and second pictures are left inner tie rod. The third is right inner tie rod. These having play will not cause a vibration. I would rotate tires to see if the vibration follows.
  7. How many qts of fluid did you add?
  8. Running exhaust brake also puts a load on the engine to help keep heat in the cylinders
  9. Ya thats what im guessing. There is some problems with the wires in the bend of the steering column breaking
  10. 03-early 04 get the best mileage. Also need a 2 micron fuel setup, but that is easy to do
  11. Yes they have a neutral safty switch. Next time it does it, move your shift to neutral and see if it starts. Also, tilt your column up and down while turning the key to see if it engages the starter
  12. He will need exhaust and a programmer. The only one you can buy is raceme unless you can find a eu smart, edge, or h&s. The biggest thing is those pickups need to be used not just drove around. Also no idleing, run exhaust brake all the time espcially if you have to idle.
  13. I dont like going over 20. I set all pumps to 18 so there is still good pressure at w.o.t I think they say 24 blows seals
  14. How did you check codes? How long did you run old pump before you replaced with raptor? Is the raptor running? I have seen many times that people replace the lp and all the sudden the injection pump goes bad.
  15. Yep sounds like a dead injection pump. Like said above, need to read codes and check fuel pressure
  16. I get mine from cascadetransmissionparts.com. The parts show up from electricaladvantage so they must be sister sites or something. Im trying to find a cheaper source (I already get a discount since I order so many).
  17. 15,000 no gauges. 30,000 with gauges
  18. I would try to find specs on the w\s
  19. I do believe a common rail compression tester will work. Also get your coolant pressure tester and watch the needle. Also if it builds pressure past 25lbs than your pulling the head even if its just a head gasket
  20. I cant remember. My charger on my laptop is broke and it has the link. Just do some searches for one filter and see if they have the other. Than compare the final price with shipping
  21. Donaldson p551315 Baldwin bd1275 Those are the best filters you can put on there http://www.cumminsforum.com/forum/3rd-gen-tech-articles/150422-3rd-gen-popular-fuel-filter-data.html
  22. Yep. Night and day difference when you do this. I have done the sensor/solenoid on probably a dozen pickups and just got two more sets today. One guy gained 3mpg hand calculated because the tc locked up sooner
  23. Why isnt there gps or something on there that isnt able to be shut off? I know on locomotives that is the case and they pretty much can only beued on rails so they arent too hard to hide.
  24. Every tans filter from mopar to the parts store have all looked alike and probably built by the same company. Just go buy one. I always suggest a governor pressure sensor and solenoid, band adjustment, and a bottle of lucas trans fix whenever doing a trans service. Make sure you get the upgraded solenoid from borg warner
  25. There is actually a law that says the automaker has to be able to prove that the product caused the failure. They cannot just void your warranty just because you have a chip/emissions delete. I am a former cummins tech so I know how it all works. Now if the warranty is purchased with the delete, than it comes down to the aftermarket warranty company. They are a pain in the *** and wont aprove ****. Now as far as the head gasket, many things can cause it to go out. Doesnt always mean that it was abused but at the same time it was most likely hot rodded and over heated.
