  4. Well knock on wood, but I have only had 4 raptors fail so far, out of 24+ that I have done. All the replacements have been going good. Gotta put one on tomorrow (one of the 4 bad ones). This one lasted exactly 2 years. Ed you need to get your fuel pump/system built so I can start selling them.
  5. I have been installing southbend con-ohd clutches lately. They are a stock grabbing clutch but can handle slight hp increases. The people seem to be liking hem
  6. If it doesnt have enough vacuum then the axle disconnect cant move over and fully engage
  7. If you have the budget look into big bang injectors
  8. We have air starters on some locomotives and they are a pain in the butt. Lots of problems freezing up and if you dont have enough air pressure or another locomotive to get air from you are screwed
  9. Should start right up no matter how long it sits. I know exactly what he is talking about
  10. Brownsdiesel.com. Out in california
  11. Call erick brown at browns diesel and tell him whats going on. He is pretty good with this stuff and he is amazing with EFI live
  12. The only injectors i have seen hold up lately are rebuilt by Don M or by bosch. Been hearing lots of comebacks on remans by others. I guesa i dont understand why you went with stock injectors if you all that done to your engine.
  13. Ya its a metal line not rubber. I still cant see how it cause a hard start, i need to look at a drawing to see how it works. I guess if you have bad connector tube o-rings it will do the same.
  14. I personally would find bad injectors when it was doing what yours is doing but its going to be hard to find without a scan tool that can kill injectors. What kind of rebuilds are your injectors? Why did you go with stock injectors wih the mods you did?
  15. Try leaving your fuel cap loose. Others say the return line on the back of the head
  16. Sounds like injectors. Eliminate the bullydog. Does it miss around 1700 rpms
  17. I have a quad adrenaline with high idle and the high idle switch and have never had any problems
  18. Dont quote me but they were thinner and would crush to seal up against the injector
  19. You can't compare gas oil to diesel oil, there is a lot of soot in a diesel and if you think about it that soot sticks to everything. So when you put in that new oil its splashing all around and collecting soot. Plus your are making more soot by having the engine running.
  20. There is plently of oil left over that you wont have a dry start and the color of oil doesnt indicate the condition of oil.
  21. I would think running an anti-gel and 2 stroke would work well together but i thought i read on here not to do it. It was -17 the last two nights here and i havnt even tried to drive mine. Its not worth the hassle.
