  1. You want a kit with 1/2" lines. I run my airdog through my stock housing and then have a 1/2" big line kit from housing to vp44. And really you want to stay above 14 for lubrication and cooling but cummins wants 10 min.
  2. Wow that thing is clean. Whats your airtex putting out for pressure? The reason I ask is I have seen those things put out like 30 psi and cause major problems.
  3. Ya i can get ypu an airdog 2 165 for close to that price. Im on the fence with them. They have been very good to me and I have only had 3 go bad out of the 24+ I have sold. But, I also cant trust them anymore and I wont sell any unless somebody requests one. I have also never had problems with the replacement ones and they have never charged me or questioned me on why I want a replacement. The bad thing about the internet is you will only hear the bad and then there will 10 pages of people whining about the same thing over and over
  4. Fuelabs are spendy. Around 1k if i remember right
  5. I cant remember what i paid (i get parts cheap) but its about right. I dont know about any heaters. There are some options that are pretty spendy thats why Im going to try the quick easy stuff. Wish I had it all because we are suppose to get a foot of snow and be in the negatives.
  6. I run one on my pickup. The only thing I have a problem with is it lets my fuel gel way sooner than it should. But I might have a soluton for that in pipe tape and a space blanket
  7. That looks like a oiled filter mess
  8. For the trans, adjust bands, change filter, and get governor pressure sensor and solenoid. Add bottle of lucas trans fix. Here is a thread on here on how to do a complete trans drain. http://www.cascadetransmissionparts.com/47regovernorsolenoidborg.aspx
  9. I agree just get regular pump. Also for the intake go with a bhaf. Dont believe everything you read about intakes, they arent worth the money you spend on them. I couldnt find if its an auto or manual. You need to look at the steering components and remember lifts and bigger tires wear out suspensions, transmissions, and steering. Reese is a hitch manufacure.
  10. Both are easy just time consuming. I gotta do my cover once i get everybodys vehicles done.
  11. If its behind the ecm its the tappet cover
  12. If you just pull the trans you won't mess with the adaptor plate. The plate is what bolts to the back of the engine and what your bellhousing bolts to.
  13. Exactly, injectors don't care about how much fuel, they care about the quality of fuel. What kind of injectors went back in? That is also a major factor these days.
  14. Genos garage has a fix for your problem. And run a baldwin 7977 in your stock housing. (there is two letters before the 7977 but cant remember them. You want to keep your stock housing because its an excelent water seperator
  15. ^^^^^ yep thats exactly what mines doing
  16. I did the beans diesel x-sump i think whats it called. You dont have to drop the tank. I got a little write-up somewhere on here
  17. If its leaking above the starter its most likely the tappet cover gasket. Very rarely is it a valve cover or head gasket
  18. Ya i think it would be cool to see the before and after. My concern would be if it fixed a scored cylinder than did it plug the cooling nozzles on the pistons? I still cant believed it fixed it. I guess its worth the shot if you are gonna spend money on a rebuild.
  19. Its kinda hit and miss, some guys get 18+ some get 14. Biggest thing to change mileage is to delete emissions.
  20. http://youtu.be/qam5ZBGLk7o I will try it one more time, didn't realize that I uploaded it to a new account and had to verify, maybe that's what was wrong
  21. Proper filtration will help extend injector life as well as cutting down on idle time
  22. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qam5ZBGLk7o&feature=youtube_gdata_player This was going down the highway mainting speed and not accelerating. My mechanicle gauge only moves when i floor it. I got another guy that has the 7 color doing the same thing
  23. Whats your fuel pressure? Seems like return line leaks will cause no starts. Pull the cap off the fuel fill hose and see if that helps
  24. Delo, delvac, valvoline blue, rotella. They will all work and you will never have problems
