01 NV5600 Shifter Knob
Yeah I saw those too. I really like them but for $50 I don't know if I will like them that much?

01 NV5600 Shifter Knob
I have some aftermarket POS on my truck now from the previous owner. I am looking to get a factory 6spd. shifter knob or a nice aftermarket one that doesn't feel like I am throwing around a piece of paper. Any ideas? The one I have is literally falling apart.

The epic split!
I almost thought this was funny, but I love JCVD much more than Chuck Norris and his semantics lol.

Fuel and Boost Gauges IN!!
So anything over 19psi on stock setup is just extra boost with no fuel on stock truck? I just figured on stock table the boost was in proportion to fuel delivery.

Fuel and Boost Gauges IN!!
So when I get the boost elbow and install it with that hose coming off my waste gate connected to it, how do I adjust it to 19psi? Trial and error? I mean when I get on the go pedal the truck doesn't feel like it noses over that I am aware of.

Fuel and Boost Gauges IN!!
Wow I didn't realize it would cause problems. I did check the. CELs and overboost was not one of them. I had a P0500 and a P0463

Fuel and Boost Gauges IN!!
I got one coming! I am in the market for an Edge EZ. How do I know how much boost to run with that?

air filter question
I have been very happy with my BHAF. I took others suggestions as you are doing now and I don't regret it. You get more cross sectional area of air to pull from plus TONS more filtration than a K&N.

My current wastegate from previous owner lol

It came with an isolator so I don't have to worry about that.

Fuel and Boost Gauges IN!!
I thought the stock configs are around 20-22psi even if it's a SO or an HO?

Fuel and Boost Gauges IN!!
Well I got my ISSPRO 3 gauge pack in and I got it installed. I ran into some problems but gave Michael a call and he helped me sort some things out that I wasn't paying attention to. I ran out of time at my shop and daylight but went on a test drive at the airport and Airdog 150 is holding rock solid 18psi at idle and 15.5psi WOT in 4th gear pull. I am also pulling 21psi peak boost on my stock truck and I think that is pretty good. All in all I am really happy with the Airdog and the ISSPRO gauges. I will try to finish up the EGT and lights and maybe a video if any one is interested tomorrow. Thanks again Mike!

Diesel fuel, School me!
What is the possible damage at a truckers pump?

Diesel fuel, School me!
T-Shirt weather?? LOL anyways that answers my questions lol.

Diesel fuel, School me!
Central Texas, and normally we do not see anything below 20-25F in the coldest parts of winter.

Diesel fuel, School me!
Oh ok, I for some reason was thinking #1 diesel was like Jet A in that it is like kerosene but super dry. Since it doesn't really get below 25F in the winter here I am thinking #2 diesel will be fine then. Problem is I don't have any bio diesel stations next to me for about 40 miles.

Time to put the winter front on.
I like the idea of blocking that fender well hole to the stock air box. I got some aluminum speed tape that should work until it gets warmer. Thanks for the idea

2 cycle oil
Understood! Thank you!

Diesel fuel, School me!
So in all honesty I need to try and get #2 diesel at all costs and stay away from bio diesel in the colder parts of the year? Since this is my first diesel and I have only filled it up once at the pump, will every pump tell me which "#" of diesel it is ?

2 cycle oil
Sorry if I stir up a bees nest or anything but what is the "gain" from higher Cetane levels? It seems that it is proportionally opposite to the amount of BTU/lubricity stored in each fuel or oil.

2 cycle oil
Oh I misunderstood the concept there. Ok thanks.
