  1. J/A = Juice with Attitude LVL 5 and 6 are the levels Try disconnecting the J/A and see if issue returns. Does it happen at certain speeds ?
  2. My I have had stock, RV275 and now +75 CPP. I keep hand calc in my book each time I fill. Best overall mileage was with the RV275 (for city and highway). I added the +75's and I can still hit my best mileage (not by much) ABOVE the RV275's -> when I cruise in Cruise Control and in OD for most of it on hwy. Its much awash tho. I do lose 1-2 mpg in start stop traffic when I try to use my foot though. So yeah - I agree with Jim - hard to get better mileage out of a bigger injector - just due to driving requirements ...... but the bigger injectors can perform well **OH** check out the terrain (all AZ) from Greer => Alpine => Clifton => Phoenix to see where I just pulled 20.1 mpg on a camping trip home ......... including about 15 miles of 4x4
  3. THX boss So you just spray externally to prevent rust ??? I noticed somewhere it said to protect PISTONS - so do you also add to OIL ?
  4. This would be interesting and useful.
  5. Good ideas Was wondering if I left the truck with my old man if he would use it and pay for the upkeep .... He's a cheap old guy though so not sure he'd do it or if he did I would want him too all said and told .... Hahaha
  6. Haha I missed this one you never know .... I think after Alaska in aug I will have a better idea about how long I an keeping the truck ;)
  7. Yeah I have the hx40 dowpipe - so got that covered with adapter Thinking I will need 2x 90 's and some 3" piping inbetween to make it go over the BHAF intake.
  8. way to Go Flynstar !!!!:hyper:Now that trucks worth and extra $10k on trade as nonone will believe it and will think its a 99k miler !!!
  9. Send me a PIC and details of what you used for your intercooler piping can you ?? Did you go over or under the intake piping ?? I was plannign on going over ...... with basically 2 x 90's Not sure of the size of the hose I need to attach to teh bottom of the intercoooler Going to switch out my HX40 to the he351cw and see ....
  10. yeah just wondering when I leave this lake to go to the other if it was worth storing the truck for a "great return". Just got me thinking more on the feasability of it rather than than if I am likely to do it ....... .
  11. HeyIf you wanted to store one of our trucks - say for 5 yearsor a crate engineCould you do it and what would be required to ensure it would last - both situations - curious:thumb1:
  12. "I think I can I think I can I think I can ...... woowoo" Remember michael jordan " I wanna I wanna be like Caj .... yeah"
  13. The voltage regulator is to prevent tranny from going into limp mode ... Allows them to give your more line pressure for holding clutches and apply - else tranny goes limp mode The noise isolator if you have one is to prevent lockup issues .... From electrical noise from alternator etc The jump on relay is a cheap way to force manual lockup switch I believe .... The voltage is 5v I *think* but guessing .... Best ring dtt
  14. 2 head gasketts ? Maintenance or blown ??
  15. Yeah I have it sitting at 143 all day long with a resistor. We are between 70-95 degrees since I have had it on - no noticeable difference in mpg.
  16. About the same for me ...... Why only 40 in back mike - as its unloaded an light ?
  17. March 23rd - this must have been done now !!!!
  18. They dtt builder showed me everything as he built my 47re. Not complicated except the large number of parts and why you modify certain parts and how u modify them. No way I would ever do myself but good too see the full internals and sequencing ;)
  19. Good luck man. Sorry didn't know;)
  20. Do you still have them spliced in and connected ? Have you tested voltages ?
  21. I have one on my truck. It's part of dtt transmission build to help maintain correct voltages for having higher line pressure. Just the way they get around that issue. Leave on truck ;)
  22. Thx mate Cleaned it all down and see if any dye shows ..... Now looking for a lead on cheap but good used compressor .... ;)
  23. Moving away from the manifold/low pressure line being issue. I plugged her up and still lost ac. Only place I haven't been thorough with is the compressor. It has dye but it never looked wet or much of it so assumed Old leak. So gonna clean down with carb cleaner and regas and see if dye comes back. Questions* can you get compressor rebuilt locally ? * is it similar to take off to alternator just loosen pulley belt tensioner and degas and unbolt and disconnect switch ? * how about pulling the lines out of back of it and new seals ? Thx
  24. Well back to 80 degree ac - :banghead: Not sure what else to do. Blacklighted the hell out of it. Thinking I will have to take to shop with someone that has a freon detector. Mike/W&F - how did you add the air to the system - was thinking I could try this and SOAP but not sure how to add it to the coupling. BUt don't see how this will work with such a small leak - 10 days.
