  1. No idea on snap ring that big ... Try and pull a 47re rebuild schematic off the Internet and see if u can find it .... As for revmax ... Yes I use them and they are good for the money ;)
  2. Definately try cleaning the terminals - but I thought most electrical issues are around to noise in the lockup solenoid - which happens around 45 when in OD. So I would be thinking more like speed sensor or valve pressures - or something in the OD unit itself. But really have no idea. Wait for W&F to get here and 411 it
  3. Yeah there are a lot of combos I found out - but its to do with the fins and blades on the both the compressor side and exhaust side. So 7 blade 60mm inducer and a 10 blade exhaust/exducer. Flows more air and better spoolup than HX40. Thats about as much as I got. As far as shafts - probably ......... but the guys I spoke with said as long as you don't abuse them and bark them they handle the abuse pretty well (Maybe I will paint a http://www.supermantv.net/images/finallogo.jpg on it )
  4. Man - I hear ya. Unfortuantely can be anywhere. On mine I have had it (in order) High Pressure Line Heater Core Compressor $1000 and still blowing HOT. Now I think I have a small leak (yours is small if it lasts 4 + months) ...... but I can't find it with UV and black light (u can pick up from walmart). http://mopar.mopar1973man.com/cummins/2ndgen24v/hvac/evaporator/evaporator.htm Best of luck.
  5. Hey guys.Got tired wondering which was better.HX35, HE351cw or Super HX40.So ---- bought a HX35 (Im an auto running a HY35) and sold it without putting it on. But have now bought both a Super HX40 and a he351cw. Going to feel the differences for myself and post results here - both spool and EGT and boost/feel pressures.Took my hy35 off today. Bolted on my HX40 with new DP to find I am 4.5" short ..... due to elbow ..... so going to have to get the DP extended during week and put back on. Will update when I do.Then it will be off in 2 weeks maybe and put on the he351cw - will update on that too.For a funny side bit- I was yanking and yanking on the 4th bolt of the t3 flange. ... thinking man this is hard. Penetrating oil the whole bit. Until finally someone came by and had a go himself .... stopped ... scratched his head and then he was like "we (you) are doing it the wrong way ......." :lmao2:Lefty Loosy
  6. Thats only going to make it worse ....... more fuel Just saying - some injectors are a little dirtier due to lift/stroke and modifications ..... I think jammers are known for this ........ but mine burns pretty clean About to put a hx40 on though ....... and she will smoke a little more down low:thumb1:
  7. ok.Still have cold air and the compressor is not cycling too often. Haven't checked for leaks yet ...... might try this weekend.But my ambients are around 85 degrees ..... and my ac runs around 48-52. Someone told me as long as its 20 degrees under ambient ...... but ??? What controls how cold the air actually gets ?? The amount of freon ? The compressor ?? Should I be able to hit 30's with 85 ambients ? cheers
  8. Hmmm.., nope ;) running +75 and quad on level pl10 ..... On a hy35 ..., and minimal smoke unless I lay into it from a dead stop ;) ... She lights well though .;)

  11. Any reason not to run the smart/juice/quad on full levels whilst in CRUISE only ?? eg 65 + OD ON and cruise control set.I mean - its just EGT control right ......... so as long as your not heavy on peddle .... or lugging up a hill .... then get the most timing out of it in higher levels ??
  12. Yeah I added PAG Oil and UV dye prior to AC freon.Not used the black light yet ................... seems to come out well on yours in that PIC ...... I remember lookign at it during the daytime at AC place that tried to fix it before - and was hard to see the UV light.Might get one and try and night - probably easier to spot the colors.Any old black light ?
  13. Hahaha - thx bud I am not convinced I don't still have a small leak .......... any tips of better ways to isolate the leak ....... I heard someone talk about specific tools like 'sniffers' or something ............. I am glad top be able to recycle my A/C for $30 tho ............ and get cold air So I appreciate that writeup you did as always
  14. Still running my hy35 .... Was going to do the hx35.... But sold it and now going to do the he351cw .... Together with a new methanol kit ...... But was curious on this drive pressure ....

  17. Hey MIkeYeah but only 2x12 OZ cans ... and my stickers say its takes 2lbs. So I am only at around 1.5lbs ....... do you think I need to add the other 0.5 lbs ?? Was getig a bit worried on the pressure high/low based on your tables in that writeup you did
  18. Vacuumed down ... Saw a very small move in vacuum after 30 mins .. Like from 27 to 25 .... So I added 2 cans freon ... After turning on ignition compressor was stable ... And air temp was 49 in 77 day .... High pressure was 210 and low was 38 .... Was nervous to add 3rd can ... So stopped there ....
  19. Hey Drivers side window power actuator is playing up. Wouldn't come back up until I restarted the ignition system (off/on) ....... and struggled even then. These simple enough to change - just door cover off and replace ???   21. Pull your programmer off and reset to stock and put in new injectors and do valve adjustment. Beyond that your going to have to try and get a better idea of the source of the sound .... Eg .. Exhaust side or drivers side engine ... Tranny or engine ... Etc ... And work from there ..
