  5. manual tranny trucks cool down faster than the auto trucks...turn your a.c. off...get out of your truck..go in side get you a drink or do something in your shop..and after four or five minutes it should go down..parking in the shade will help also..that is what is nice with edge juice with attitude they have turbo timers that can be set for egts or time amount.
  6. another thing is with the egts..and alot of folks dont know this..the C.R.'s have 3 injection pulses per stroke..this is another reason why they are so quite and the turbo sits lower in the engine bay.
  7. just finished reading all of your thread..i am saying the the seals/seats/guides are not doing there jobs.and as far as the white smoke...a possibly a cracked part in the head and or the head it self..white smoke means water..coolant in the combustion chambers...also...has far as you know do you have the correct year model oil dip stick for monitoring your oil level?but chance is it the original block?hopefully not a 53 that was replaced with the orignal 03 block...just trying to weed out all things that may have been over looked. - - - Updated - - - oh..and industrial injection has good turbos..i ran a SPS62 in my 03 with a 6speed...smarty revo tnt...puck..and tst..all stacked and it ran AWESOME..and that was with stock injectors.

  9. jag that is where i bought mine...i got my truck in 12/'09..and in january '10 ..for a piece of mind i installed a new mwfi.com pump..a FASS 95..and a new apps..just the $169 one...two cycle diet since day one...not one single hiccup....and it has been 115 degrees here with alot of humidity..still going!! congrates on the part!!
  10. sounds like a line on the bottom of the tranny/cooler exchanger below the exhaust manifold maybe leaking.
  11. and as far as idle goes it dependes on the air temp and humdity..watch your gauge and record at different temps in the summer..and then in the winter watch them and record them.
  12. and if you do replace it and it is time to install it..make sure the key way is at 12 oclock ...and a little trick to keep the woodruff key stays in the shaft is to put alittle super glue on the key and tap it in so that the top of the key is paralell to the top of the shaft...AND...when the pump is on your bench with the shaft facing you.make sure that the numbers on the key match the numbers on the pump and that you dont have the woodruff key in 180 degrees backwards..just a info for you.
  13. i would call a dealer..seems like the head diesel tech told they are like the 47re trannys atf+4 only...5600 are pickey like that to on there fluid..not sure what it is tho....here is an number for you here in k.s. where i live..hope this will help you out..800 526 1814
  14. mine had been sounding like it was missing...and i lifted the bed up and inspected the fuel tank parts on top..well the large tring was not even tight..put i put a new airtex unit in.the factory one was yucky.it had fine grit dirt...and the black float was coming apart..so the screens were plugged up.since that has a built in pump and i am running a fss h.p.f.p. 95..is this a big no no?has far as draining the injectors i thought maybe that was my problem cause fuel psi would bounce everywhere.

  21. i am on the E.R.T./fire brigade at the refinery i work at.starting online coarse for a month and then 2 weeks of hands on and then i will have my fire fighter1 under my belt..refinery paying for all of it!!
  22. when i owned my c.r. trucks i ran Lucas in the fuel..and i always bought the big 32 oz. bottle..cause besides the printing the whole bottle is clear...fill it up after i get home from a fuel fill up.. - - - Updated - - - blue stuff looks better in there..hehe
