Hey @Mopar1973Man, or whoever else, whats a good HANDHELD GPS to buy and use for accurate MPG tracking? I'd like to use it for way more than just this though. Resistance to cracking. Stainless, depending on its nickel content, holds heat very well. Therefore, resists rapid temp fluctuations which is a main contributor to heat stress cracking. @TFaoro, why did you choose the BD manifold?

I don't understand where the timing #s are coming from. I thought there was a solid list and descriptions of what every tuning parameter does in conjunction with another and the end result (roughly). For example, I have no clue what TPS Pump Minimum means...does it mean if its at 30%, the throttle acts like 30% of pedal is being applied right off idle? Modified APPS signal? Kinda like Smarty & Edge stacked? Other things I don't understand: 1. Max load timing offset. 2. Pump low boost scale PSI- I sort of get this...does this mean when the wiretap power starts? 3. The whole timing thing. Ok, when I read that someone is running 3* of cruise timing...what is the end result? 4. Min pump tap fuel percentage. 5. Timing reduct scaling If I know how to properly tune these parameters in conjunction with everything else, I'll be doing better. I am not getting injectors until I can use my right hand entirely....can't replace injectors with one functioning hand.

You know what would be really awesome....in the iQuad app.... Boost Level Fueling CAN Bus: Enter the growth %parameter (would be an added parameter setting within Boost Level Fueling CAN Bus, and then enter your first # and let the app fill in the rest. Also just realized I can enter decimals values into CAN Bus parameters! Would it even behoove me to go this far? Would it make the power curve smoother?

So build a tune Mike uses, cause his injectors are only 50HP, closer to stock most folks with quad I'm assuming. And then just adjust can bus only? Leave everything alone? I going to call his tunes 1973 MPG 1973 FUN etc. etc. lol.

I am not entirely understanding how to make my own tunes. I keep reading numbers in relation to exponential growth. I just read the first 6 pages of this thread. I'll be the first to tell you that I am a math retard... if it ain't spoon fed to me then I'm lost. Thats why i'm just a dumb welder, lol. However, once I grasp it, the lightbulb will shine bright (one can only hope). Since my 176 mile round trip, I have noticed the fuel gauge move less. I forgot to write down how many gallons @ fillup , so had to rely on the eyeball method, as the lie-o-meter is as useful as **** on a boar. I just need to know what to look for. I have the tunes @Me78569 posted in the custom tunes thread as a baseline. Very smooth! He did say those are for 7k feet elev. and that i should add 20% to CANbus, being that I'm @ 2,300'. Ok, is there some kind of graphing tool I can use? I see @Mopar1973Man posting graphs all the time. Good stuff! Lastly....most importantly.....my wifes satisfaction with the Quad is undeniable as she drove truck today first time since installing Quad. Good to have my other 1/2 on board. She grew up racing hot rod 4x4s in the PNW4WDA, so the itch is something she understands.

So I bumped up the minimum pump tap percentage from 0% to 15% on all tunes except performance. That one is @ 50%. Also on the daily tune copied from @Me78569, I bumped the fuel stretch from 1500 to 1700 microseconds, and pump low boost scale to 1 psi up from 10. Just experimenting. I want the tuner to come on sooner, like pretty much off idle... I can see why (almost) everyone on here has one. ? ?? ??Way too much fun.

1693 was the only code. As for what happened last night. Who knows. I was probably so rumdummy from Being awake since 4am and ending up installling the quad at 9pm.... everything seems good now. I'm going to tweak my tunes now. I noticed the tunes here: work great. Very noticeable difference from the EJWA. Clean power as I've read on here. I'm going to tweak my the Daily & MPG tune to make the power come on sooner and ramp up a little slower. Big shoutout to @Me78569 for his help and overall dedication to this. Dudes a genius.

I did not change levels at all, just loaded daily tune and started the truck. No APPS wires were damaged. ~UPDATE~ Been driving the truck for 45 minutes now, and everything seems fine except the check engine light is on, I'm going to figure out why here in a little bit. I've got it on daily tune and everything seems perfect. Performance tune hits like a freight train. Idk what the(my) deal was.

~First off~ I just want to apologize to the forum for my silly post last night. I edited the whining and profanity out of it. Sorry. 1. I applied the Daily tune I copied from your post in the Custom tuning thread before I started truck. 2. I did not connect the map sensor back to OEM That explains that. 3. Ok, I will change that. 4. I am absolutely positive the correct wire is tapped. 5. Only removed the APPS module (3 big bolts) and I reset the APPS last night to.

Having issues with my quad already. Installed it and went to start truck up...wouldn't start. Kept acting like I needed to bleed the injectors or something...unhooked the quad, both from the main hookup @ quad box & battery connections.....truck started right up....let it run for a few mins, turned off, hooked quad back up, then it starts....gauges work good etc... Let it warm up...go to take off...no pedal response, check eng. light on....diagnostics on the iQuad don't seem to work...screen just stays blank. Is it possible this thing can cause my inj pump to fail? Yes I tapped the right wire...the same damn one my edge was tapped. Quadzilla said they flashed it with the V2 software....because I asked them to. I chose exactly the vehicle profile what the little sticker on the side of the box said ......>>>V2.3! What is going on here? I unhooked the quad a second time...tried to drive truck....acts like dead pedal...floor it and it slowly starts to speed up. No, this isn't user installation error either.
