  1. $5.00 for a hamburger, 2qts of water and a payday candy bar (no chocolate... no melt)These tools keep me from being in a bad mood when I get home cause I'm too hungry.
  2. High idle works fine. You can set it to come on after a certain number of minutes of inactivity too. I sell them and won't charge you extra to send it across the border either (its light).
  3. power is nice with the smarty. There are lots of good options. you may even find someone with a used one for cheap.
  4. ISX there is the bright box that modifies the existing head lights, but the reflectors are supposed to be not so good on stock lights, + its not legal in CA to drive with high beams on.Moparman, what did you use for mounts on your aircraft lights?
  5. mine was an 04.5, great truck, too nice for me really. MPG was not so good. I could only get 16.5mpg driving easier than my 2001 where I could get 21+MPGI sold it to help fund and grow my diesel business. I started it at the bottom of the economy...
  6. sounds like good results. Glad you like my pump!
  7. my 3rd gen had much better lights than the 2nd gen. My 3rd gen also had oem fog lights. When they were both on I felt I had nothing to complain about.
  8. $450 is too much for the APPS. you can get them for $160, you can always sell you stock one on ebay and recoup a few $$
  9. what type of cost was it to get the fog lights? I know 100watt bulbs are no good out here in CA.
  10. I know my OEM headlights may be brighter then my ideas, but I can't see very well at night. Lots of us have poor lighting on our trucks, we spend hundreds and thousands modifying the truck, but most have stock OEM lights.Estimating cost at under $340 shipped for new sport headlights with a new set of bulbs and wiring harness. Would there be much interest in a plug and play kit with the sport lighting which uses a 9004 &9007 bulb at the same time in each headlight instead of just the 9004?Tipsto get better light you can:1. can use rubbing compound or degreaser on your yellowing lights to clear obstructed lenses2. do not use blue tinted lights or the "WHITE"' lights as the blue light mostly scatters. It looks lighter, but its mostly because it hurts your eyes.3. If you have relays set up correctly your voltage drop will be less leading to a brighter light.4. if you have lifted or modified your truck height re-adjust your headlights to be the correct angle.any other ideas...
  11. glad your trans is still going. if you have a weak link its better to have the output shaft fail than input or intermediate shaft.
  12. I can ship UPS or USPS if you are in AK HI or Canada. Hope your truck is working again.
  13. the bad thing about global warming is that it leads to a title wave of taxes, penalties and unreasonable projects all in the name of "Green" that affect all of us (think of this Green as the new "God" for the leftists and it will make sense as many try to take God out of everything and then replace it with their own idol of sorts). Now don't get me wrong we have a responsibility and a stewardship over our wastefulness and pollutions. I volunteer to pick up trash along roads, I try to do the 3R's Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, (funny in this land of consumerism the only one they talk about now is recycling) and I have not purchased a hybrid vehicle where the manufacturing carbon foot print is goliath and there are hundreds and hundreds of pounds of lead acid to dispose of every 5-7 years.. Browning a philosopher stated in his book "To the extent that scientific models [Global whatever] inspire us and produce commitment, they lapse into a quasi religious attitude". Basically they are no longer objective and become attached to a cause and do so with religious fervor. check out http://www.drroyspencer.com/climate-confusion/ he wrote Climate Confusion: How Global Warming Hysteria Leads to Bad Science, Pandering Politicians and Misguided Policies that Hurt the Poor it is reviewed by readers here with a decent summary. 14. 4.10 gears I got 21.4mpg averaged over 500+ miles3.55gears I got 22.3mpg averaged over 500+ milesthis is unloaded on a long road trip mostly driving 67-68mphIf I make one pit stop on my mpg drops by .2-.3mpgits the accelerating and wind resistance going over 70MPH that kills it.
  15. last year or so they dropped the "GLOBAL WARMING" label which the news has not been so quick to pick upnow its "Global Climate Change" btw my climate changes 4 times a year how about yours? The idiots eating this stuff up will not think far enough in the future or past to see the patterns, and the news will help to perpetuate it by talking about all the crazy weather that happens on a regular basis all over the world.Had the first snow in Riverside area last year for about 10 years. it was weird to see my hills with a little flurry of snow that was gone by 9AM. HMMMMM... must be global climate change. If it weren't for movie stars, weather and price of gas there would be about 1/2 the conversations in America.
  16. yeah the hole thing.... make sure you do something about the studs left over from the stock airbox removal, I'm sure you did, but there are others that might just let the BHAF sit on them. Where I am there is so much dust you wash the car and 2 days later there is dust all over it. That's why I wash the truck everytime I change the oil. LOL
  17. having the right gears for towing (4.10) is great, but it excludes good gears and MPG while not towing. the other stock choice (3.55) is a compromise for towing and cruising empty, because the gears require towing at 65-70 which in many places is illegal, and at 2000RPM you are at 70mph where many people would rather be at 75-80 while cruising.
  18. it figures... everything is illegal in California
  19. they can still be had for $99, but I am sure they are not BOSCH. My dealer cost on BOSCH nozzles is a bit more than $100
  20. I hear you on the MAP sensor. I still have some in stock at the group buy price. Can't seem to find my old thread where they were $149.95, but I have 6 left. Its a nice gauge display and code reader.
  21. its amazing to think that turbo can spin 100,000RPM +
  22. the Quadzilla will do high idle at your command, it offers more features and gauges for less $$ than the smarty, but quazilla's quality control is not so good.
  23. The Timbo TPS work great. I have 20 more on order and have been selling a ton of these and VP44's. hope to get 1/2 of my TPS in on Tuesday. Tim is a great guy and all of my customers have been happy with his TPS.
  24. 4.1/ 3.2 ratio with the gearvendorswish I had one. but with 3.55 the OD would be about 2.77, and I don't drive that fast
  25. 1. don't buy the cheapest toilet 2. if you have a cheap toilet try getting a piece of rubber hose and making the overflow pipe a little taller and then tweak the float stop to allow more water. Make sure that it does not leak, or that the amount of water will not immediacy overflow the toilet in the case of a blockage...... 3.get this one http://www.fishnflush.com/iq_fnf/ at least you will have something to do while you are waiting for teh clog to fix itself....
