For me this virus easier to understand than the 2nd gen wiring and electronics. (Longer read) https://nymag.com/intelligencer/2020/03/the-story-of-a-coronavirus-infection.html

Used Pacbrake install
(I don't know hardly anything about our trucks, that is until it breaks, then I seem to learn how to fix)...For what its worth...A plug came lose on my BD brake, it burned a hole above and melted something, cant remember exactly what now. . But it makes a hell of a racket with the plug gone. I called BD. They said only to replace with brass "solid head" and secure with stainless steel "security wire". As cast iron bolts would rust up big time and very hard to remove. Had hard time finding "solid head" because most that I found had a hollow head. Amazon has them if you need to order. The solid brass head type says said good till 250 degrees temp wise. Wire is stainless dowel wire, which is even harder to find than the solid head plugs. But found the thickest stainless bicycle spoke I could find. Have not had any problem probably 10k ago. On BD, one hole for testing back pressure with gauge and another for temp gauge probe in case (owner of truck) doesn't have a gauge.

Are you reusing those test port threaded plugs or are they new?

I'm trying to figure out this big scare... it seems like the Panic is worse than the pandemic. Maybe someone can chime in. I'm in Seattle more or less Ground Zero for this thing. Has this virus been developing more and we're going to see a lot of new cases locally and nation wide. Or maybe rest of nation supposed catching up with highly infected areas?

Need fuel system help!
I have one duct tape to my window for about a week. I put one of those air bubble shipping pad in between gauge and window.

Here's a connection I found... I was going to stop and do some shopping, store was a Zoo. Drove home went out in the trailer there it is all the toilet paper I need for a while. We always keep the trailer packed and ready to go.- 3rd Gen Front Brake Upgrade
Eb best thing I ever did for mountain grades when pulling 9000 pounds of trailer. When pulling trailer around the u.s. I noticed mechanics more familiar with pacbrake than what I have, which is BD brand. But neither eb is cheap though.- New Adventure! - Just Blogging
First..sorry for your loss. Second...what you're going thru is entirely normal IMO. Many months after losing my parents I would still fall apart at the darnest thing and the darnest time. Could be a memory or something and I would just fall apart. I (we) were braced for many months for my Moms death, but still when it happened it was still a shock to me (us). To this day when my Moms wind chime makes a certain noise in the wind, And it's been 11 years now.- search help
Yep, sure do Somebody was posting about fuel pressure jumping up and down. I was going to tell them to check the jam nut on their airdog. After reading about those things I’d be afraid to touch it. I was just wondering why. .- search help
"Jamb" as search word...38 threads or something. As a side note..(wife with brain tumor) I'm talking out loud to myself, I say "jamb" nut, jamb nut...wife looks over at me and says... no, we dont have any nut trees to make jam with- search help
A finely honed in on a Google search for three-letter search words yep it's a big computer world out there also it over my head. Mysql etc gets deeper into computers than what I'm used to...namely my computers on off button- search help
I'm not sure why but three letter words don't show up. Oil or gas or car... also 3 letter words don't show up either. At least using the phone not sure about a laptop. Guess that's how the search works?- search help
Tried to find an old posting where I used the words "jam nut". Typing "jam" or "jam nut" into search box and then hitting enter shows no results. Any hints what I'm doing wrong?- Pellet stove recommendations
Thank you very much. Good info. Currently have natural gas by osburn from mid 80's and can't get parts anymore.- Pellet stove recommendations
OP here thanks for responding really appreciate it. If I can ask what drew you to this brand and have you had to order any other parts from them?- Pellet stove recommendations
OP here... last winter had cold spell and elec went out for long time. Trying to find out what people use that live in cold country. My 1980's osburn is shot. My elec didnt used to be a problem till couple years ago. Now elec failure takes days not hours to get back. Battery back up...I never ever knew about. Going to check out further.- Pellet stove recommendations
Brother in law used to live in cold country, northern Idaho, almost to Canadaian border (now passed away). He had a pellet stove that feed pellets into an augar type tube that was connected to a wound up spring device. As the spring unwound, the pellets dropped into fire box. No electricity needed, or in my case looking for something when our elect goes out. Any manufactures you would. recommended?- RV refrigerators/freezers (psa)
I recently posted a link in a thread here about someone looking to buy an RV. In finding the saved link in my lap top, I came across my favorite link for cleaning your RV fridge. Reason this is my favorite link is because when we bought an older RV and fridge wouldn't cool below about 45 degrees. After following directions fridge works great now. There's a ton articles on the internet about RV fridge, but this link does the best job imo. RV fridges and wiring get alot of the blame for RV fires. 1. Find your manufacture and serial number. Look up your manufacturers web page and see if there are any recalls, to make sure you are up to date on your unit. 2. Follow directions in link. However... 2a. In the steps where he about the chimney flue...actually get up on roof and visually look down into to flue with a flashlight. To make sure your flue is clean of all debris. Yes from the ground you'll be able see daylight above with a mirror and flashlight with fridge vent cap removed, you can make sure looking down from the top. We had so many spider webs and junk in the flue even after using a lear blower to clean out the junk I had to cut the screen on top so I could use a leaf blower and vacuum inside flue to get flue really clean. After a good cleaning and following directions. Our fridge cools alot better, even in summer temps. 3. We sleep alot better knowing our fridge/freezer works properly. I'm not advertising for him. Imo he covers the subject best imo. http://www.rvdoctor.com/2004/11/cleaning-servicing-rv-refrigerator.html?m=1 - coronavirus protection
