  1. The only time it should be reset is if you write it. The only time I think it should write it is when you change it or the app thinks you change it. What do you have "set" for the value?
  2. Actually opposite of what Mike said. Toggle the MPG Offset in the settings from off to on to off and leave it off unless you want it reset everytime you connect the tablet to the Adrenaline. I agree with Mike here, about 145%. The best way to figure this out is to fill up, reset everything by toggling the MPG Offset (and AVG MPG Reset) from off to ON to off, leave it on off, while connected to the Adrenaline. Set your MPG Offset to 100%. After running for a while, fill up again and compare the calculated gallons per trip to the actual amount of fuel used. Then divide the Actual gallons used by estimated gallons used then multiply by 100 to get the offset you should use. You may have to adjust further after more usage. (Actual / Calculated)x100 This is definitely not normal. The flash on the Adrenaline doesn't affect this, but the App on the tablet does. It may be that you need to completely delete the app and redownload it from the app store. This may also help with the other problem you experience where it freezes after about 4 hours of constant driving. The data storage for the data-log is filling up all your available memory and its causing the app to freeze because it doesn't check to see if you have filled up the phone or tablet's memory. The latest version of the app reduces the size of the data-logging so that shouldn't happen, but it may still.
  3. Hmm. That is weird. I just tried it here but didn't have an issue. I will try it on a few more devices to see if I can reproduce what you've seen.
  4. You shouldn't have to "set" the AVG MPG reset to anything, you just toggle it on, then off while connected to the truck to reset the values.
  5. That is quite the list isn't it. I will see what else we can do besides a suction cup mount.
  6. We are working on a monitor. We should be getting a semi-working prototype to us in the next couple of weeks. If the smarty touch is still 4.3" then we will be bigger than that for sure.
  7. OK. I made one more update to the Adrenaline MPG stuff (and possible threw a fix in there for the MPG offset rounding issues). If you want to try out the latest MPG fix (which is almost the same) and expand the custom tuning ability very slightly (peak timing will now go to almost 32*) then you can check out this tune: http://quadzillatech.com/TunesDownloads/V2Tunes/ADR9802v2.8.5.exe Mike, if it fixes the issues that you were seeing before please let me know.
  8. While I should have researched this earlier, I have not. I apologize I don't have the answer. I would think you would want something that will startup when it gets power to the USB cable.
  9. I'm glad they are treating him right. Putting on a turbo was definitely the right thing to do.
  10. They honestly have a great package that they put together in conjunction with the Adrenaline to get somebody pretty darn close to doubling their horse power on a budget. I think the point of the video was to highlight the injector - Adrenaline package which it does a pretty good job of doing. They are also careful to let people know that the transmission does need to be beefed up and how to do it safely. I like the idea of their mechanical fuel pump too. I wish that they could have shown that with proper turbo and injectors you could add 180+HP like we've seen. The stock HY35 turbo though is a huge limiting factor.
  11. We did play with the GDP monitor thing, but we found what @Me78569 said is true. Its just an Android tablet with a cool back piece that has a swivel on the rear camera to turn it into a "dashcam". It took us about an hour to mess up the software. We can't get the GDP wrapper back because we did a "Reset to Factory Defaults" on the tablet. It kept the app, but deleted the GDP interface that was built on it. It can run the iQuad app which is freely downloadable from the Google Play Store. That part was cool. I also like the magnetic connection for the power. I was disappointed that they didn't make more HP gains when adding the tuner, but at that point they were air limited. Custom tuning helped by changing the timing. They were really constrained by time to work on their custom tuning. With a few more hours to play with stuff they could have squeezed a bit more out of it and cleaned up the tune a lot. Throwing a turbo on it would have improved things greatly too.
  12. It is difficult to open them, understand the tuning parameters and then enter them in by hand. It's way easier to just import them, save them to whatever name you want then review them that way on your phone/tablet.
  13. I honestly don't know yours specifically because you have the special build. It most likely copies the regular defaults, but I can't be 100% sure. The defaults for the V2 tuning can be found in our custom tuning guide here: http://quadzillapower.com/adrenaline-custom-tuning-guide/#V2Tuning
  14. Its all about the
  15. Yes, it is confusing. I'm sure you're not the last person this will affect. I wish I could have named it something different.
  16. Turn the MPG OFFSET to off. It doesn't need to be on to be funcitonal. You only need to set to to ON when you are resetting the Gallons used. Everytime you are connected to the Adrenaline, you are resetting it because the APP is seeing that you have it set and is sending the signal to reset it. Turn it to OFF. It will still apply the MPG offset, but it will no longer reset the gallons used per trip.
  17. Believe me. We have been waiting not so patiently for the screen as well. We really want to get it out there and right now it is just taking too dang long.
  18. Try to take a data-log of the event so that we can see if there is an errant fueling message. However, its probably an injector thing. Make sure that your filters are clean.
  19. That is weird. I would disconnect your box from the main harness to reset everything and see if that affects anything. It shouldn't, but it will give us some information if you do.
  20. Check for 12v with the engine off but keyed on. It will set a code for MAP sensor voltage too low. Check for pin1 on the connector for 12v. Yes, you can just swap the iQuad out for the control pod.
  21. I would only set these to "on" when you are trying to reset them. You basically want to toggle them on then off to reset the gallons used per trip and the AVG_MPG. I'm concerned that with them on when you connect the app it will resend the signal to reset them every time it connects. Also, having to try a few times disconnecting and reconnecting the Adrenaline before it flashes is perfectly normal. We have to do that all the time here too.
  22. On its way now. (Of course you already know this).
  23. That is actually rolling length of the tire, not the tire height. So circumference, not diameter. Less accurate method is to take the tire height and multiply it by 3.14 to get the circumference. Most accurate is to measure it yourself with the truck rolling. Stock is set to 95.7". This is actually pretty interesting. I've never actually heard a "whisper mode" tune that actually worked so this is nice to hear in the video. Every time we have tried to mess with stuff in the idle section it has ended up badly for us. I can look at this again when my trucks are put back together. Because Apple app doesn't let us write to the file system directly, nor does it give us a good way to view the files in the file system. Unfortunately the only way to load tunes is through the email to myself then "open in the app" method. Kind of an iOS thing. I honestly don't know why it doesn't work, its supposed to, but it doesn't I guess. So, rather than clicking on the name of the tune to apply it, you would like a button in the custom tuning menu that will load the file to the Adrenaline when clicked? That is interesting. I will have to look at this in the future. 3 cylinder high idle would require the ECM to be programmed for 3 cylinder high idle then we would have to "fool" the IAT sensor to make the truck think its really cold. That would require a complete revision of the Adrenaline system. I'm not sure that its really feasible at this point. Maybe we can make a extension module on our screen when we finally come out with it that does something like this. I too agree that it would be nice to set the idle target. This change isn't as involved as the others and is something that we can conceivable do. I will have to look into that.
  24. Sounds good. I will talk with JKidd and make sure its good to go.
